J.R. Watkins Detox Creamy Moisturizing Body Wash with Detoxifying Natural Extracts, Natural Turmeric & Citron, 12 oz

I'm in love with the scent! It's very warm, inviting, and makes me think of a Church with how good yet subtle it smells. When smelled from the bottle, I initially thought it smelled like a warm, Ginger Rosemary however, actually using it gives off a different scent. The Ginger smells the strongest out of the scents but isn't overpowering as it works in great unison with the Turmeric and Citron. For me, the scent comes off as slightly masculine with the warmth that it gives off but stays relatively neutral making it great for anyone to use. The lathering was tricky at first as it didn't foam/bubble initially. I finally got it right and really like how it feels when in the shower. My only complaint with this is how it left my skin feeling barely moisturized. Think of how generic soap bars feel like on your skin after a shower, it makes it feel squeaky clean with friction when you rub your skin instead of feeling smooth. This is how it left my skin which felt really weird. I applied lotion after showering and it subsided and felt really refreshing. Overall I think this Detox is great and personally left me very relaxed and energized after a stressful day. I highly recommend using it first and then using a moisturizing body wash as it really felt like it stripped away my body's moisture.

This product is amazing. I love that it is grainy and goes on different than a body wash. It exfoliates and cleanses your skin all in one. My skin feels cleaner and softer as a result. I have visited the company website to see what other products they offer. Love this product and will purchase again and again.

The smell is nice and not overwhelming and it does leave my skin soft. The only thing I don’t particularly like is it’s grainy, but I guess that’s the detox at work.

JR Watkins Detox creamy body wash really cleans the skin without drying it, especially during the hot and humid summer months.

Smells good and lathers good but gave me an allergic reaction in a very sensitive place. Never happened before.

This may be my first negative review ever. Unfortunately the top was loose and there was no seal or tamper resistant packaging. Nothing leaked in the box thank goodness but when I checked to see how strong the lemon scent was I got a gross surprise. It smelled like vomit! I had my family verify this much to their dismay! I threw it in the trash - sooo glad I didn’t actually shower with this product.

I love this, makes your skin feel lovely. It's very thick, be patient, it's nice.
