The label says : Handwash cold water, Do not tumble dry. I have yet to wash this version of the little caterpillar but with my old version I have tossed that in the washing machine on gentle cycle and low heat dry cycle , the fabric is almost like a tye dye on the newer one. If you wash in the laundry make sure you don’t mix with whites it might stain on a first wash .

Its just the plush. The patch is the one sewn on to the the tail of the plush, The 3rd and forth picture are closer to the real thing. Plush is inspired by the book, the book is not included.
