Cute camera packed with features
The orb mini definitely lives up to it's name, it's diminutive stature means it will fit nearly everywhere, and it's rounded curves make it blend in without looking like your usual cctv camera.Setup is easy and takes just a minute using the app, it scanned the code on the back of the camera and then the camera recognised a barcode from the phone display shortly after it was on my network and available in the app.The app gives you full control of the camera, you can pan and tilt too see every corner of the room, and even talk live through the camera and hear any response. It's simple to save snapshots or clips of video, but the camera also supports a memory card so you don't even need to use online storage - and it all works very smoothly.I'll be using this to keep an eye on my garden office, with motion alerts enabled and the ability to look around remotely, it's really useful for keeping a watchful eye on even large areas. The image quality is really excellent, as you can see from the sample snapshot on this review. Night vision is also veey decent, with enough detail to be more than useful. All in all, a great little camera, with the app giving you an easy setup experience and easy access to all the fancy features.

Great little camera, perfect for babycam!
Impressed with the first one, we brought another one. Easy to use, good pictures, good sound, does the job at home no problem. It will also give you far better photos than any town centre professional CCTV camera shots you see on TV crime programmes, which always seem to have been taken with the lowest resolution camera ever!

Good value little wifi camera.
Netvue Orb Mini WiFi CameraI purchased this little mini WiFi camera to use as a pet cam to keep an eye on my cats when I'm not at home, and make sure they're not upto too much mischief 🤣. I wanted a camera that was not too expensive as I am not intending to use this for cctv, so I chose this as it was a reasonably priced mid range camera. I chose Netvue specifically because they have reasonably good reviews online, and I already have an older version of this particular camera. I wanted something that would be Alexa compatible and that didn't require me to download yet another app on my phone taking up even more space.Pro's -1. Reasonably easy to set up. All you need to do is plug it in, connect it to your WiFi and scan the QR code on your phone. I already had the netview app installed on my phone, if you don't already have this you can easily download it using the barcodes provided in the manual, and the follow the on screen instructions.2. This little mini orb cam is smaller than my original one and is less intrusive looking.3. The picture quality is much better than my older model.4. You can install your own mini sd card to record footage without paying extra for cloud services. My previous cam constantly rejected my sd card, i have swapped cards around and they work fine on my other devices so I suspect this was a design issue on the original one. There does not appear to be any issues with the card on this new mini model.5. The intercom works great on the new mini cam and I can shout at my cat to get down off the fish tank when I'm not home!! 🤣 My original cam it did not work and audio was very distorted.6. The new mini cam can rotate downwards giving you better coverage of my whole room, the previous model could only move up and side to side.7. Camera comes with fittings to install it on your ceiling if you prefer, the picture can be rotated 180° to view it the right way up I chose not to do this as i live in rented accommodation and am not allowed to make holes in the ceiling etc.Cons -1. Very annoying and continous loud noise plays through the camera while you're setting it up. As it took me 3 attempts to connect it to my WiFi, I found this to be very annoying.2. As with the older model, it makes a really annoying clicking noise when it switches between day and night mode. This happens continuously at night when you're sitting in a room with lower light and watching TV for example. I found this to be very repetitive and irritating so I had to switch the camera to day mode only instead of auto.On comparing this mini orb cam to my older model, I do find this one to be much better overall. Most of the issues I had with the previous model appear to have been rectified in this new one. The Netvue mini orb camera in my opinion is good value overall for my intended purpose for it. If I were to purchase another WiFi camera I would be inclined to purchase another one in this range as I can view them all through the same app, making it quicker and easier for me and less apps to troll through on my phone.Overall I am very happy with this camera and would rate it 4 out of 5.

Excellent value for money
The media could not be loaded. NETVUE Mini Security Camera Indoor Wifi Camera, Baby Monitor, 1080P HD, Motion Detection, Two-Way Audio, Compatible with Alexa, White.I purchased the indoor Netvue after my experience with the outdoor version. Greatly impressed with the build and quality of the outdoor version, I am pleased to say the indoor version is of the exact same quality. I decided upon this on primarily due to the special offer on Amazon. A Tilt and pan Camera with Alex functionality for only £20. A great price and cheap enough to be able to at least test if functionality.I placed the camera in my conservatory, the front of the house already being protected by both a video Doorbell and Netvue Camera (both with night view and motion detection. All three are easily accessible via my mobile phone📱 as well as my Amazon Show 5.Positioned in the conservatory, i am able to monitor both the back door 🚪, the garden as well as panning the camera 📷 right to see inside the house. The IR lights giver perfect night vision. As if room daylight.A feature I really like is the ability to subscribe to various additional features including continuous recording, human detection AI (this means it will not alert for animals, fuss or moths etc. This dramatically reduces the amount of false alerts you may get.The camera 📷 also comes with a two-way microphone 🎤 and speaker 🔊. This would make it ideal if left to keep an eye of say a dog 🐕 left home alone. The camera is intended for such uses as Baby monitor, pet monitor as well as a security device. For the price and looking as similar products that are solely sold as a baby monitor, this product is perfect and the affordability makes it even a better option. However, as a parent, this obviously doesn't take away your responsibility to monitor your child yourself. I would never recommend that this device would allow you to "pop around " to the neighbours for a quick drink. As far as the subscriptions are concerned, the only downside is that Netvue currently only allow payment via Card payment. In this day and age, I firmly believe that other options should be available especially PayPal allowing secure payment in the UK. I still hate making a payment over the Internet. Even the ability to setup a direct debit would be a massive positive.Initially I found that the tilt and pan a little fiddly to operate. Especially the left and right pan↔️. However, this lasted only a short time. I also encountered a little latency with movement, but after a slight realignment with the router and this issue was quickly resolved. I have BT disc which allows for greater flexibility with WiFi i am definitely not attempting to sell this product as this is a personal choice. It is obviously entirely down to you what broadband provider you use. However, it is vitality important to not that all such devices require connectivity to broadband and at the 2.4Ghz level not the 5Ghz rating. Therefore it is important to know this as your router must be able to broadcast at the 2 4Ghz level. Although 5Ghz is a stronger signal, this is irrelevant as the cameras 📷 only work on the 2.4Ghz settings.Currently Self Isolating prior to a surgical procedure, I really like the fack that I can easily view both outside and inside cameras via my Amazon show, setup beside my bed. The alert 📢 will sound on the Show, your mobile 📱 as well as smartwatch⌚, if you have one. Being an absolute technology geek, I love any thing that makes my life easier. When thinking about it, the price of a couple of Cameras 📷 can come at a much lower price that a full on security system. Again I am not, in any way suggesting this, as once again it it both a personal decision. I live in a rented property, thus unable to install a full security system. This provides a cost effective method of providing a good level of security (especially with motion detection enabled). I would recommend the subscription for human detection but again a personal choice. The motor than controls the Pan & Tilt is quite and not loud enough to wake a baby, if used for that purpose. It moves smoothly and has a good range of movement. All the necessary fixings are include in the box, along with a USB Cable with micro USB power cable. This is a really great idea as if the cable isn't suitable for placement, you can easily purchase a longer one as a very reasonable price on Amazon. I will probably get a longer cable to allow me to position the device in a position hard to be initially seen by a potential intruder. As this is the purpose of my purchase. Yours obviously may be different, thus the cable supplied maybe easily suitable for your use.During the short time I have had with this device, I have used every feature. I scared the living daylights out of "she who must be obeyed", making use of the 2-way speakers 🔊. I was alerted that she had gone into the conservatory and made a subtle comment. Watching her jump at the voice, without initially being able to see were is was coming from, admittedly gave me a couple of minutes of humour, just prior the the sharp slap around the back of the head i received ( admittedly totally deserved 👏).Getting back to functionality, the camera 📷 provides a very clear wide view of the room covered. The Pan & Tilt adds to the functionality allowing you to move the camera to the exact position you want to look at. You are also able to zome in and out, using finger gestures on your mobile screen. With the motion detection enabled you get advanced notifications of any potential intrusion allowing you not only film any potential intrusion (essential for insurance purposes), but also allowing you to contact the emergency services.Currently this item has been reduced on Amazon from £59.99 to £23.99 with an additional £3.00 discount voucher. Which makes it one of the best value big brand CCTV cameras 📷 Currently available.Overall I am extremely impressed with this little device. For the price there is nothing available from a known manufacturer at such a reasonable price.Easily a 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ review for a great product. I would honestly recommend this device for your own particular needs.A great purchase.I hope you found my review useful 👍.
