Je Ne Regrette Rien

I only just discovered Edith from the Allstate TV commercial. I had heard of her back in the 50s and 60s but dismissed her. But now after hearing the commercial I bought this 2 cd set with many of her favorite tracks. It is digitally reedited so it is clean and well recorded but the highs are a bit too high but then it could be my Apogees.

I love Piaf. I do not understand any French but it does not matter when you listen to the Little Sparrow as they call her. I am an artist and I like to listen to her while I write or paint or just sit and ponder. She is easy on the ear and mind. One of my favorite is La Vie En Rose which is really good and favoorite of women. I heard it in English by Brenda Lee and it was even better when you know what the words are. I have several of her albums and not one is bad.

Edith Piaf will never get old. That is a french statement that is so true.My wife loved this vinyl for her birthday. She listened to it a few times already and I am sure I will listen to Edith Piaf for a long time to come.Her voice, the lyrics and the melody are just unique.

As a long time fan of Edith Piaf I am delighted with this release. The quality is excellent and it contains over 40 recordings that cover the many stages in her life. Many friends have listened to parts of this and now are ordering their own. If you were not a fan or even aware of her work you will be after playing this album. Delivery and packaging were excellent!

This was a gift for my husband, and he could not have been more pleased. He loved the song when he heard it on a television ad but didn't know the song or artist, so he thought he'd never have it. When I found this CD, I knew I'd found the perfect gift. Not only does he love the title song, but most of the others.

I used to sit and listen to Piaf for hours as a teenager studying French. It is great to have her music in the house again.

each song by Edith has a serious elegance to it also something cool was that the vinyls are clear! 10/10

Not disappointed at all. Lovely music, though I don't speak or understand the language. It's just plain relaxing!

Très belle chanson d'Edith Piaf. Je ne connais personne qui n'aime pas cette chanson. Edith Piaf a une très belle voix. Elle embarque tout le monde dans ses chansons. J'aime beaucoup ses chansons. Je pense qu'elles ne mourront jamais. Souvent j'écoute Edith Piaf et ça me fait penser aux années d'autrefois. Elle se donnait corps et âme sur la scène. Une femme très courageuse. Elle l'a dit: 'J'ai vécu deus fois'. Personne ne s'ennuie à écouter ses chansons.

I love this record and its actual recordings are spotless and perfect.
