OSD Audio 3-Way Outdoor Patio 4" Speaker Indoor Outdoor Stereo Pair Black AP450

Used it on my patio all summer long. Used them probably every 2 days or so. I have a 100 ft long backyard, we a pool at the end of it, and can CLEARLY hear the music with a perfect sound. I use them with an old Denon receiver so maybe a cheaper amp would work as good but it's really worth the money.

I've had these speakers for just over three years now. I'd like to think that is enough time to right an unbiased review. These are solid speakers of large enough size to produce more than sufficient bass-response. I am currently powering them with 40 watts each and they sound great without distortion. I am certain they can easily take more power if needed - however, at they current power they are more than loud and efficient enough for me. I've had no issues with weather affecting the speaker drivers - so yes, they are sufficiently waterproof for my un-covered deck. They were easy to install with the included brackets. I am happy with their over-all functioning including the gold-plated thumb screws on the back to attach the speaker wires. The last two Winters I have been taking them inside as I don't hang out on the deck during this time of year - easy to remove and then re-install in the Spring. My only minor complaint is the plastic housing slightly yellows with time. The sun is quite harsh at altitude here in Colorado, so I don't want to be too judgmental. I guess if it really bothered me I'd spray paint them again. However, their main function is to create great music - which they do. I am kinda picky about quality music and so far have not been disappointed.

I hung them in the corners of the room, close to the ceiling. That way the bass is a bit better. I love how they look and the sound is really good. If you compare the specs of these speakers with more expensive ones, you see you get a lot for your money here. I did send the black ones back because I found out they also came in white which looks way better!

Those speakers are just perfect for small or medium size patio. I bought 2 pair of them for my restaurant little terrasse. I'm so happy to have a very good quality sound all over the place. perfect for medium to medium-high volume. best quality resolution for pop, indie, trip-pop, jazz, rock. if you plan to play electro or house music, and over heavy beat with big bass. I would definitely recommend to add a sub' or go for something bigger. From the same brand I would also recommend the ASD Audio AMP120 Pro amplifier. after looking on line for the best quality and price amplifier to plug my 4 AP650. I found that the AMP120 was the best. cheap and easy to plug.

These speakers not only met my expectations, they surpassed them. I use them on my large 2 acre rural backyard on the patio. The sound is rich and clear with surprisingly good bass response for small speakers in a large area. Will definitely order another 2 sets to compliment my backyard when I finish landscaping. Seem to be holding up well under covered eaves even after the wettest summer in 50 years. As a diehard music and nature soundscape enthusiast, I recommend these speakers over higher priced competitors that sounded muddy with brassy, tinny high frequencies.
