They fit well, came as described and I have been using them for months now.

I have lots of hoses on the farm, and have tried about every type of hose-end valve... all-brass, zinc, plastic. I figured that these would at least work decent enough and be cheap enough to be throw-away when they fail. So far, after a few months of heavy use on many hoses, none have failed or leaked. Plus the lever is smooth and easy to flip on/off with one finger while holding the hose. I got very tired of the expensive all-brass heavy ones, that all end up leaking or binding, and then you have to rebuild them, and many of them have failed to the point that they can't be fixed. These just do what they're supposed to... easily shut off the water, and when one eventually fails, you replace it. Plus, these are all plastic, so no corrosion issues, and having to grab the penetrating oil and pipe wrench to get the cheap metal ones off after they "weld" themselves to the hose fitting. So far I haven't broken any of the plastic levers when the hose gets dropped and hits a rock or concrete the wrong way, but I've had the all-brass ones break off too if they hit just right. I'm ordering another set of them. Pulling an all-brass valve off a hose that was leaking today just reminded me to order some more and write a review for these.

This is a great product in my opinion. I have been using plastic ones and attaching a metal hose end does not work well there is a tendency to cross thread as well as an inferior seal. These valves also have a stainless steel ball valve and the water control has a positive stop for on and off flow, as opposed to a plastic ball valve without positive water control stops. Also being a brass valve they easily mate up to the washer of whatever item you are using hence no more leakage. i am very pleased with my upgrade.

I use these to connect soaker hoses in my garden. I like that I’m able to shut off sections with different watering needs without having to rework or reconnect the system. Being plastic, I don’t expect them to last forever but having spares on hand means I don’t have to worry about them too much. They’re easy to connect, disconnect, open and close, they don’t leak (at least not yet) and the price was affordable.

Solid brass coupling is an easy fit and strong gaskets make it a dry and dependable experience. I se them on all of my hoses, especially the expandable ones. They shut off valve allows you to get full expansion and length to reach far away spots. a must when coupling multiple hoses because you can change from sprinkler head to spray nozzle without turning the faucet off. Very please at price for product.
