Chef Knife by Cooking Pleasures stainless steel professinal Santoku, 8 inch

There are a few negatives associated with this knife. It rusts. It looks cheap, particularly the finish on the handle. There are far too many "paid reviewers" for this product, all of them insisting that they are giving an "honest" review.On the other hand, the balance is good, and the blade appears to hold an edge for a while. This is what it is: A cheap knife that cuts, and which looks like hell. It's better than a good looking knife that's uncomfortable, and which won't cut. I can live with it.

I love this knife had bought one a few years ago and really didn't need a new one but for the price I bought it for a back up.It really is like a chefs knife

Not good at all for the price I can buy a Knife allot better then this for less money

I ordered 3 different knives-9" Chef, 8" Santoku & 4" Paring. They are high quality and well balanced. Which is very important to me since I prefer the knife to do the work instead of exhausting my hand. They all seem to preform well, taking the brunt of the stress. They all are very sharp though to me, not razor sharp. I prefer my paring knife to be razor sharp. It did sharpen easily to my liking, just a few minutes, demonstrating to me these are of wonderful quality. I received my knives in a fast timely manner, with a protective cushion which allows stacking in the drawer. I am very pleased with this product.

I drop the knife on the cutting board and the blade broke into 2 pieces. Made from cheap stainless steel.

This knife is very nice to handle and cut. The blade was super sharp in the beginning but has lost some sharpness. It's still one of my favorite.

Great knife to have! Wish it came in a better case because I carry it around to different work places. Over all, great knife for the price and very sharp.
