Clairol Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent No Ammonia Hair Dye, 7 Dark Blonde

Love this hair looks amazing! Easy application process, not a very harsh smell, no burning etc. Colour looks great.

Don’t believe the other reviews I gave this a try because it was gentler than the permanent hair dyes and I was very pleasantly surprised, but it does actually cover the greys! It was actually one of the famous AI apps that suggested this to me because previously I have stacked hair dyes that have led to my brown becoming black but it suggested this because it’s gentler and semi permanent and will not progressively turn the hair darker and darker. Not only was I pleased that it covered the greys but it’s left it super shiny and soft. I’ve come straight on to do a subscribe and save every eight weeks and I’m thrilled that I have found one so suitable for my needs.

Box contains the solution bottle, colour, conditioner and a good size pair of gloves. There is a decent amount of colouring to do medium length hair. Pros the colouring smells nicewhilst mixing, it colours the hair well & masks gray hair with nice glossy looking finish when dry. Cons: Whilst developing on hair the smell was quite strong it was actually taking my breath away so I had to shorten the time I left it on my hair. But end result still turned out nice.

Really easy to apply. The instructions are very easy to use either for first time use or simply touching up. Comes with gloves, colour and a conditioner. It smells great and the coverage is great.

Considering this isn’t a permanent dye, the results are not too bad. I bought dark blonde to tone down my greys as the contrast between my silver grey and dark brown was too much. The greys are blended in. Considering it meant to be dark blonde, the actual colour is darker than I expected, so I’m glad I didn’t get a shade darker.

Easy application and great colour. Trouble is, it isn’t fading. I have root growth and lost 5 years of growing out colour

Left on for 15 minutes instead of 20 to try and avoid muddy staining or too much green tone. Full time may have gone a little dark to. A little green- but a very even dye that got rid of some stubborn brass.... I will use some purple tones to bring the green down :)

I followed the instructions explicitly. My grays were not colored. Hair left feeling soft and shiny but did not do what I bought it for! Disappointed! Wasted money
