Best cat carrier
This cat carrier has already paid for itself! My cat had a potty accident in the carrier during an emergency vet visit, and I was able to completely dismantle the carrier so that I could easily wash and clean every aspect of it and then put it back together! It is roomy enough for my 8lb and 12lb cats, but I'd need a larger size for my 17lb Maine coon mix.I love that it's easy to belt in to the car seat. The multiple zipper areas make it great for putting my cats in it and taking them out.It might seem expensive, but it is a solid carrier that I feel safe and comfortable transporting my cats in.

A really quality travel bed
I purchased this for my kitty and it is everything I wanted it to be. Sturdy and luxurious on the inside. Lots of room for her to move around in. And easy to get her into & out of it. I feel very comfortable when she is in it, knowing she is safe & secure. And she is very comfortable and happy in it as well.

Roomy and sturdy for most small pets
I bought two of these last minute for a rather long trip. I wanted something that was larger and safer than my cats’ usual carriers when they had never been on a long trip before and wound up panic buying these four days before leaving. Thankfully the seller offered faster shipping so I was able to get them within a couple of days. The cats were hesitant to climb in it before we left in spite of all the pheromone and calming sprays sprayed on it, so their first real introduction was the trip itself. They tolerated the carriers surprisingly well though one cat had an accident inside halfway through the trip. Cleaning it was very easy. After we got to our destination the cats ignored the carriers for days until I had to take them to the local vet. The vet staff were quite impressed with the carriers and like another commenter said, the cats were mostly able to get examined inside the carrier. After that, I had the bright idea of spraying catnip spray on the carriers and it was like magic. The cats were crawling in and sleeping in them no problem. The trip home was much easier with no issues and the cats still sleep in them.

Think of it just as a child's car seat
I love love love this. I've only just gotten it in today but so far I'm very impressed. I will do my best to remember to come back if anything changes or heaven forbid we get in an accident.I drive with my little girl Penelope (5lbs 12 year old VERY PICKY) pretty much every day for the last year or so and have had her in the car with me more often than not since I've been 19 (6 years back). While I would have loved to have always had a car seat for her I could never find one that justified the price. No crash ratings or reviews of people in accidents. I would check google every so often and this time I got a hit and I'm elated.I got the regular size even though Penelope is in the weight class for the mini because I saw some reviews that mentioned it was a tight fit for their dog. I didn't want to have to return the thing so I went for the size up. I think the sizing is perfect on the regular! It fits her and my car (A Prius and shes in the front seat) very well. However, I do think some animals would benefit from the mini. It's important to have safety for critters of sizes! I put some pictures of her and the seat up for anyone who is on the fence about the sizing for their baby. Nelly is 9 inches from shoulders to the tail base and fits snuggly in there with her favorite blanket. There is even a pocket for a warming pad!!!Another thing I love is that it really is a mobile bed. She goes to work with me every night on 3rd shift and tonight is the most comfortable I've seen her. The top part gives her some shade from the lights and makes her feel protected. It is very easy for me to strap in and unbuckle as well.Overall if you are hesitant about the price just do it if you can. Personally, I put this on a credit card. It's a chunk of change but it is similar to the expense of a child car seat in my opinion. Also, it's cheaper than a vet bill, or therapy.

Cozy Cat Carrier
Very comfortable. We had the typical hard plastic rectangle cat carrier. We were taking a long trip with our fur baby and we wanted a carrier that would be cozy . She was a tooper for our long trip. Plenty of room for her to curl up and sleep. Easy to fasten the seat belt to secure it

Expensive but fabulous!
I was skeptical to pay such a hefty price for the Sleepypod pet carrier but a relative had recommended it and I wanted to make sure my cats had comfort for a 15 + hour drive across country moving to a new city. We haven't yet moved but the carriers are gorgeous, plush and well made and we are leaving them open in a few rooms of the house so the cats get used to them before the trip. They are sleeping in them all the time and seem to really enjoy being in them. So far, so good. they are brilliantly designed so the car seat belts go thru to hold them in place which was a major decision in buying this carrier...an important safety feature for your pet. One of my cats is 15 lbs...she's big and comfortably can curl up inside the bed to sleep. The top with netting and different zippers and openings is so nicely constructed, attractive and fairly roomy. I'll write a new review once I've actually traveled with them...but no carrier can take the fear out of traveling with cats who hate to go outside.

Does not really fit my 12 pound dog
The specifications say for 15 pound and under dog. My tot is 12 pounds. While I won’t return it and will use it for short trips I will not use it for multi hour drives as it really isn’t big enough.

Our cats loves their safe space
This one was our second Sleepypod. We still have the first one we purchased, and both kittens used to be able to fit in one pod. Now they require their own sleepypods. The Sleepypods transport the cats easily. We always get complements on the uniqueness of the Pod when we take the cats anywhere. They are well built and the zipper is heavy duty. Our male cat is a good tall twelve pounder and it fits him well. We leave them out in the living room so they can retreat to their safe space in case of thunderstorm. We leave it open for them and they are not afraid of the pods. I would purchase these again. They are more expensive but super well built.
