When I eventually decided to try them I went for chocolate brownie, I squeezed the bar on the verge of firmly before opening, Much to my surprise I felt a squidgy spring like you would expect from a fresh brownie, and not the tough eraser texture I was expecting. I opened the packet, the bar looked tasty, so far so good.I had my first bite, it was genuinely enjoyable. I had my second and I was expecting the chewing to take over, or signature aftertaste of a protein fortified snack to rear its ugly head, it didn’t. The whole bar was enjoyable. The search is over. The flavour tastes ok, but they just look really unappealing.I’ll still buy these bars as I don’t think it’s the product as I’ve seen similar views, but will likely just stick to my usual shop. If so it depends on which part of the country you live. Some supermarkets sell them and I do know Tescos sell a small selection of single bar's which is in the chemist or opposite the chemist.
