Managed to get a junk food loving rescue cat to eat this
My rescue cat came on a diet of kitty junk food and I have slowly been getting him transitioned to better quality food. He eats a good quality dry for his breakfast now but was hanging on to his Felix jelly pouches had tried a few better quality wet foods with no fillers, higher meat content and he had turned his nose up at ones like Lilys kitchen. Got him some Applaws jelly pouches and he wolfed those down thought I'd hit the jackpot but then read that Applaws is not a complete wet food so had to restart my search! Not sold on a raw food diet but saw that this wet food scored very highly in reviews on the ingredients and giving cats the nutrition it needs. Now if you have a junk food loving cat and just plonk a bowl of this in front of them one night, they are likely to turn their nose up at it. What I did is on the first night, I placed a tablespoon of this food in his bowl with his normal Felix pouch and didn't mix it in at all so he could get used to the smell. He didn't touch it, but then the second night I placed slightly more in his bowl with his usual Felix and put some Felix over the top of it, so it was slightly mixed in. Left food overnight and noticed he had tried some of the Natures menu food, so I continued to add more Natures menu and reduce the amount of Felix and now 5 nights in and he is eating a ratio of 3 quarters of the pouch of Natures menu and quarter of a pouch of Felix, and he is eating every last scrap of the Natures menu food, can't explain how happy it makes me seeing his empty bowl in the morning and knowing he has eaten good quality food. He does love his jelly and not much of it on the Natures Menu food, so I will probably start using a quarter of a pouch of Applaws jelly food rather than the Felix mixed in, as Applaws also has no nasty fillers etc.

Textureless, stinking mush... Is this pack "off"?
After hearing and reading so much positive feedback about this product, I decided to order a pack for my latest "Senior" rescue cat to try, she doesn't like fish flavour food and prefers the better quality meat content options, so the choice of flavours seemed to be ideal, though apparently not, according to Maya...She's tried each of the flavours and to give her, her dues - she has actually given them each a taste, even after sniffing at them and initially gagging at the pungent smell (hell, even I gagged when I sniffed it after she refused it), she tried chewing a mouthful then spat it straight out - she only swallowed a mouthful of the goose flavour - then walked away, gagging, going straight to her water fountain and refusing to eat anything else for hours. As she's approaching 12yrs old, this is a huge problem. Now, I'm unsure if its just the way these meals are processed, as I'm dubious about anything being heated to high temperature in plastic, I'd imagine it would be better to keep them raw, perhaps selling as frozen to keep fresh? Also the texture is reeeaaalllyyy disappointing, something I've learned over the years is that unless cats have unhealthy or missing teeth or are lazy as frakk, they enjoy something they can chew, get their teeth into or rasp with their tongue. This stuff is a similar consistency to liver pate, or soft corned beef with a tiny amount of jelly (no sauce or gravy), so there's no "meaty" texture at all, it's been ground up so much that there's no way of telling what the hell it's made of.Because of the way this stinks, a friend who's cat usually eats this brand, has offered to try this pack, that way I'll know for sure if its just my cats preferences, or if there's actually something wrong with it, because if there is, her cat will point blank refuse it - that's the only time she won't eat what she's given, is if its "off" or it's contaminated with something cats aren't supposed to eat. Once I have a verdict, I'll know whether to return for a refund, or just let my friend have it, rather than waste it. I'll update this review once I know either way...All in all this has been really disappointing, on paper this sounds like an ideal food and seemed like it's worth the expensive price, especially with the aim to go fully raw as well as cereal and sugar free. Cheap cat food brands really are junk food and cause too many health issues, so this seemed like the perfect "next step" to weaning her off what she had in foster care... (no fault to them, they have very limited budgets and lots of fussy cats to look after).

Smelly, but the cats like it
I don’t like the smell of this cat food, but the cats normally do and that is the important thing. For fickle cats, they do generally choose to eat one of these sachets, as long as I don’t try to feed one to them every day.All ingredients are listed and there isn’t a catch all mix of everything (meat and animal derivatives etc) that would render it unsuitable for my cat with many food allergies, which is great. Normally the bowl is pretty cleaned out, not always, but enough that I have been prepared to keep buying this for them, as I don’t like to waste food.It is worth trying, particularly if you have a cat with food allergies as you can be sure of the ingredients and that you are not going to make your cat unwell. It generally goes down well here with two particularly discerning moggies. And there is always a dog to finish up anything they choose not to eat.

Not enjoyed
What i thought would be a food in jelly was more like a pouch of pate, my cats wouldnt go near it at all, i know i have fussy cats, but thought they would at least give the food a try, nope, tryed it on a cat im feeding outside, but turns out he only like the chicken flavour. I can all but try.

Cats seem to really enjoy it
We have 3 house cats & after a disaster with another brand & then finding out how much rubbish is shoved into mainstream ones we decided to buy alternative brands with better stuff in.So we’ve been feeding our fireballs a combination of this, Lily’s Kitchen & Scrumbles.Cat 1 - is very very picky (she took the longest to ween off the old brand given)Cat 2 - is not too picky (but he can have a delicate stomach)Cat 3 - will eat anything! All 3 basically face plant into this food (as well as the others), they seem to love it.Seems to be more in it and the furballs are impatient to get it, they have twice a day feeds with some good quality biscuits for grazing throughout the day. They’re bounding around with plenty of energy and the boy has thrown up far less, and their coats are even nicer than before, very shiny and soft.
