Portable CD Player with Speakers, Rechargeable CD Player for Car with Built-in 1400mAh Battery, Anti-Skip Protection, Backlit Buttons and LED Display

I'm an old guy and have had the original Sony Discman which was built like a tank and sounded amazing. God only knows where that has since landed. Found myself in need of a portable CD player again as I enjoy listening with headphones on our back deck during warmer months. Time will tell how durable this is, but so far I'm more than happy and impressed with this!Some observations:* It's all plastic with no metal (thinking of that old Discman), but seems to be durable enough. Doesn't "feel" cheap in hand* Rechargeable battery. In my opinion, this basically pays for the player itself in terms of not needing to buy new batteries! So far, it seems to keep a nice long charge too. Though again, time will tell how long the internal battery will last.* EQ. "Audiophiles" will truly gasp, but I've found it's a fun and useful feature depending on what your listening to and your environment. Of course, you may be a "purist" and listen direct/flat. Your choice!* Controls are easy to navigate and are intuitive* Can't speak to the quality of the internal DAC, but it sounds like most any other CD player you've likely heard. Doesn't seem to sound as rich as my old Discman, but that may just be nostalgia talking* Anti skip. I purposely shook the living daylights out of this thing to test it and it never even hinted at skipping a beat. I'm impressed!Summary:At just under $40 this is a very serviceable CD player with some outstanding features: rechargeable battery (that alone basically pays for itself), excellent anti-skip function, and EQ options for those inclined to try them. Time will tell how durable it proves, but for now I'm completely satisfied and would recommend to others looking for same

Finally found the product I've been looking for! Wanted a portable CD player for my car when my Sirius radio decides to temporarily die every 2 - 3 weeks. I had ordered two other models from different vendors and neither was what I was looking for. This one is perfect - built in speakers - compact - re-chargeable and good sound. Would definitely recommend!

This CD player worked for two days and suddenly quit. I tried everything and then decided to send it back. I ordered a different make on Amazon, then for the heck of it I tried one more time to play it. Amazing, it's working again! I canceled the new order and am listening to this now. So perplexed. The only negative thing is that the sound is not very loud, but loud enough for what I need it. If it stops playing again for no reason I probably will send it back. Otherwise, it's very handy and I like it a lot.

Their customer service were excellent. The product was very well made. Sound system speaker would do better. Very useful in car and at home. Very handy and love that I just need to charge it and never to buy battery.

Bought this for a blind friend of mine who needed a CD player to listen to music. I wanted to make sure it worked and I knew how to operate it to help her use it once I gave it to her. I was so excited when it came in, the main feature was that it was rechargeable so she would not have to worry about batteries. I charged it up and popped in a CD, message said, no CD. I kept trying. Tried a different CD, same thing. Finally I got a flash light and started looking inside and noticed it was missing a part the optical part of the laser that reads the CD! When I tilted it I heard something was loose inside, it was the optical cover part!I am sending it back and will not be buying anymore products recommended by Amazon. This is the 2nd time I have purchased a product that they are recommending and I have ended up returning because the product is worthless. I’ll be amazed it this is even shown, everything I try and post a bad review it is rejected.

I love this little CD player. It is very compact. The sound quality is great considering how small it is. Like other reviewers, I got it for my car (came without a CD player). It is absolutely perfect for what I need.

Rechargeable!!! I got this for my 16 year old daughter, who lives for music, but had been frustrated trying to keep her rechargeable batteries charged (and out of the toys of her little siblings). This is perfect. The sound quality is good. The built in speaker works nicely. I have a VERY happy teenage girl!

Although it appears to be a fine player, we were looking for something we could play our books on CD when we took trips. Ad for the player showed someone listening to it while driving. We could not hear the CD over the road noise, we were on the interstate. Since there was two of us, ear buds were not an option. We rarely get to travel great distances to hear a book so I was reluctant to spend a great deal of money. My car is new enough it doesn't have a CD player ( stopped putting them in 2018) and no auxiliary port.

It is exactly as shown and described by the seller and it exceeded the expectations! We got it one week earlier that it was promised and expected. And what is also very important, the seller made sure to send it with reliable carrier and not as it is now happening that Amazon delivery leave our parcels in building lobby where hundreds of people walk and so many parcels got stolen. Can be used with or without ear phones.

It will work for drives in mountains where no reception on radio and my built in cd playewr no longer works - cheap option
