These have been a life saver for my husbands elbows and hands. Gives him a break from holding pads. They’re pretty sturdy and do the job as well as the pads. Great for defensive work and technique as well. Great purchase. Also great price compared to the super fancy ones. They do the job just as well.

it takes the impact off my elbow, but it needs to be a bit harder to break away. I know that the breakaway method provides shock absorption, but it's a bit too easy when the paddle is punched even lightly.
