Tea for the elderman
See what I did there? Thats a Cat Stevens album (Tillerman)!Anyways, this is the tea my middle eastern parents drink. They are loyal to it and don't drink any other tea so I got a subscription for them for it, when they moved to Florida, since its hard to find in Florida. Not a lot of middle eastern stores there that carry this. Its great tea. They have been drinking this brand for 15+ years. I am not sure when they switched over from the Earl Gray they used to get but they won't try anything else. Elderly parents are not ones to change easily, you know? Anyways, good stuff. Elderly parents are the worst though. It feels like having kids.

Great taste, Quality, and Price
This is a great, basic tea. In fact it's what I would imagine "black tea" would taste like if it started at a blank slate.Makes a good cup, I've bought 3 of these 500 gram teas so far and I will keep buying it. I store it in a glass jar after opening. The last box of it I got was particularly fresh, but it keeps well enough for a long time (tea won't go bad but can lose flavor).I have consumed about every tea under the sun at this point of varying quality and after my journey I always fall back on a cup of this for that classic tea taste.Alone? As tea should be. Cold brewed? Delicious. Cold Brewed honey? Amazing. Lemon? great. Homegrown spearmint? Great. It also mixes well with Assam, try 2 or 3 part of this tea to 1 part Assam. Not bad with rose or cardamom either if you like different floral stuff going on now and then.I'm writing this review because I feel like I owe it to Ziyad Bros. for sourcing such a good tea like this. Bravo.EDIT: I no longer drink this tea because it went from being affordable to less affordable, and it only punched above its weight when it was around 10-12 dollars.

Not as good as the local
This one is growing on me. At first, it didn't have the orange flavor that the local place has in theirs. It was citrus-y, to be sure, but with a repine kind of tang. However, over the course of the week, either I've become accustomed to it or the strong resin type flavor has faded and allowed some of the orange out. Not as good as the local, except for the fact that it is ten times cheaper, and after the fourth cup, the local lost every bit of orange flavor it had and is now the same as plain black.I'm unsure if I will try this brand again or another one, but given it's over a pound, that is not a decision I need to make for quite a long while yet.

Great tea
Very nice tea. Such a big difference in taste with real whole tea leaves vs dust in bags. Will continue to purchase this brand.

It has 10% leaves and 90% petiole garbage.
It has 10% leaves and 90% petiole garbage, look dark, dried and aged. I bought another brand that's full of bud and color orange, much better than this.

Great Tea Makes a Great Day
I love Earl Grey tea and this is absolutely the best I have found. I love the bergamot flavor in Earl Grey tea, but I like also like it a bit stronger than most people. SO, I also ordered a 3.5 oz pouch of Stash Tea Company Double Bergamot Earl Grey loose leaf tea. This tea is superb with no bitterness or unpleasant after taste. I also ordered a 3 oz packet of Tea's Etc. Black Tea, Persian Lime. It is also excellent tea. Now I add 2/5 of a large teaspoon of either the double bergamot or the lime black tea to 3/5 of the Kalmi Earl Grey tea. This makes such a delightful brew that I relish on a cold morning. Please know 2 years ago, I bought 9 containers of tea in an attempt to find that one perfect tea for me. All were very disapointing EXCEPT the Kalmi Earl Grey. Now I have perfect tea everyday. Tony

Just Leaf
No stems or chaff. Just leaves. I bought it to make iced tea. Very tasty with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
