The large is really just a little over 2ft tall? am i misreading this? isn't this like the stonehenge set that arrives in spinal tap?

Yes it is...if you want the six foot tall Bigfoot it's the life sized one. The "large" is just a little guy.

Are these statues weather resistant?

He seems to be pretty weather resistant. We put him in the house in the winter but rain doesn't seem to bother him. However, let me say that birds land on him and chip the paint off so I recommend a clear coat.

Is there a mounting plate? There appears to be 'holes' in the feet that would snap him into a mounting plate?

No, there was no mounting plate. I designed a system to keep him upright in my garden but there was nothing with him when he was delivered.

I cannot locate the 36 inch model and I see others posting they purchased one.

I ordered the six footer- they sent the three footer which is in fact 2.5 feet tall or less but he’s very cute and well made
