I’ve been using these for my customer’s security cameras for years and they last. Worth the money.

Needed this for a Brinks Security system to record video files.

I got burned too many times on knock-off SD cards. I decided to be safe and buy straight from the source. Ran the usual testers and it checked out. I even maxed out the drive with my own large file testers and all the checksums checked out. Legit.

I bought a faster model, etc. and it wouldn't work with the security system. This model works.

Stay away from NO product support. They keep reorganizing their company instead of spending time supporting customer. Bought 2 here on amazon. They said they don't support amazon purchases talk to seller, seller says talk to WD. After I gave up with WD, (8-20 weeks of slow email exchange), WD said OK sorry, we will. 4 months later said still out of stock, and now say they are sending me something else. I would not say it will get to me, who knows.

I bought this for my BlackVue DR900X-2CH dashcam. Although the manufacturer says that this dashcam can accept up to 256GB SD card, after reading somewhere that others managed to get it working with a 512GB, I decided to go with this. The dashcam recognised the full capacity and was able to format it for use without any problems, and I’ve been using it ever since. Don’t have any complaints.

Works great in my Lorex wi-fi security camera.
