Discuss smelly feet!
I bought my original copy in Scotland on the recommendation of a librarian. Whenever my grandson who was four at the time, spends the night this is his favorite story. He is now six years old so I feel he is ready for his own copy. We enjoy reading the story and looking for the hidden sock as we turn the pages. This book has a great story line and fun to read.We highly recommend this book.

Bien. A los niños les hace gracia, aunque el tema es algo extraño... No hace demasiado olor... Buen tamaño.

Delightful fun tale that my toddler wanted to re-read over and over
My toddler is absolutely obsessed with pirates the past few months, so yesterday I bought this book, along with some others, to supplement the cool pirate kids books she already has (eg My Granny Is a Pirate). This one is a lot of fun, and we've already read it several times over. There's a lot for little ones to love: pirates, lots of silliness, cheesy-smelling feet, sharks, undersea adventures, some cool rhyming. It's a well-written tale with a fun sing-song quality, backed up by delightful illustrations. Pirate Pete gets ostracised by his shipmates, forced to walk the plank when they can no longer tolerate his stinkyness - but after being marooned he finds a way to be helpful. It's a cool wee story that's silly and fun while also having some wee themes about friendship etc and everyone being useful, etc. Hits the mark as a re-readable tale that could become a favourite. As an added bonus there's a 'find x on every page' aspect to add to the fun on re-reads, as well as some stinky stickers. The story itself is very good - whether you like the add-ons or not may come down to personal preference.

Cute book - recommend buying the hard cover
Cute book - recommend buying the hard cover. Stickers are small and aren't "too smelly" as my niece shared with me, but overall good purchase.

I thought this would amuse - it does
Although the story in this book is soon over, the fact that Pete has really smelly feet amuses my grandson. We’ve read it more often than the other pirate books and he enjoys laughing out loud, but it’s Paw Patrol thats the favourite I’m afraid. Better value for money than the other pirate books I bought.
