I bought mine two and a half years ago and I am still happy.First of all, this thing is tough. I carry it every day clipped on the inside of my pocket. The same pocket as my keys. My keys smack this thing every time I pull them from my pocket. I have put this light through the washing machine no less than four times. I drop it on rocks and pavement on occasion. It has never broken. In this 30 months I think I have only had to replace the battery twice, but I don't use it as often as I carry it. Just make a habit of replacing the battery on your birthday each year or whatever and you will be fine. It is very bright. Sufficient to light up a very large area. It can get a little hot after sustained use on full power but it does not affect the function at all. Extreme cold doesn't cause issues either, I used it in the east Idaho winter a lot so I could see the ice on my path and keep my balance easier.I have no complaints and if I ever lose this one, I have no further need to explore the market. I am just buying another one.

So I recently just ordered one of these flash lights. I originally thought I received a damage item because I couldn't get the flash light to turn on. I requested a replacement because I didn't know if the flash light was damaged or the battery that I received was bad. They sent me a replacement and the first thing I tried on the original flash light (I received the first time) I took the new battery from the second flash light I received and it worked fine. Come to find out, both batteries actually worked and that I wasn't screwing the lid on where you put the battery at on tight enough. So it was my mistake, I am going to send back the replacement. The whole point of this post is that I highly recommend this flash light because it's bright and of course Smith and Wesson makes great products, but also make sure you screw the lid on tight so you don't think you received something damaged when it actually works. Also appreciate the fast support and how fast they sent me the replacement. I will order from them again. 5 stars all the way!

I’m typically a surefire Streamlight gucci gear guy. This is replacing a Streamlight macro bcuz I never remember to charge the darn thing.Bought this randomly bcuz I’m currently into m@p for my carry so why not. Expectations were low since my only other experience with s@w line is there knives. We all know how those measure out.Time will tell how it holds up but initial impressions are this thing is awesome. I’m not sure why the negative reviews It’s bright enough for edc. If you need more lumpen’s this is the wrong tool for the job. it uses the same batteries as my weapon light. Which I have wound up with a plethora of.come on It’s 30 bucks guys. If it last 6 months that’s a win in my book! I will say it’s way smaller than I expected but since I bought it for edc that works out great. It is a thick boy tho but that correlates to the cr123 battery so what can you expect. I think for the price this is a hard value to beat.

Brightness is great. Sure lumens are "low" by other standards, but this little light is ASTOUNDUNG! It is so very very bright! I am super impressed! For tactical applications, this light is not only durable, but I would call it ideal! For the price and quality, accept no substitutes. Buy this light!
