Edit: 6 months later
This sound bar can get uncomfortably loud. When playing Dolby audio content, it's extremely loud at 50% volume. I'm legitimately afraid to put it past 75%.The subwoofer can shake the entire room.I'm too afraid to do it, but I guarantee if you put the subwoofer and soundbar at MAX your eyeballs may vibrate out of your head. Legally this kit should probably come with a warning label. As far as clarity goes, there's 3 dialogue clarity options. Low, med, high. No matter how loud you push the soundbar, you will be able to understand what's being said. I didn't notice any drop in performance while using the dialogue options. The set up is easy. You gotta use the HEOS app. The app doubles as a remote, but a physical remote is also included. You can adjust treble and bass in the app. There's 6 quick save macros. The remote is sleak and IR compatible. It has several physical buttons for changing input, power, Bluetooth, dialogue and 3 preset EQs; music, night and movie. The soundbar is also ir compatible with your TV remote so you can control volume with 1 remote. You can also control volume with your phones volume rockers in the app. What I really love is the visible dots on the front of the soundbar that light up or dim when changing not just volume, but all settings. Really love that they did this.I did a lot of research on other soundbars. I was using a Sonos Beam that I'm going to return. I'm going to say the sound quality of the bar alone is equivilant to the beam, maybe better becuase of all the advanced options.I would highly recommend this product.*6 month update*Still performing spectacularly. Paired it with an LG CX. Now, I was having some audio issues using eArc, but after extensive testing I can't tell if it was the TV or this sound bar. Regardless, the issues have ceased after a few TV updates. Speaking of, the soundbar only updates via the HEOS app, so make sure you open it once in a while. For my audiophiles that believe atmos and 7.1 can't be done properly with a rinky dink soundbar, I suggest you reconsider. Now admittedly I've never experienced a $5000 complex audio set up, but I am picky when it comes to quality electronics, and I'm tellin you this gives intricate set ups a run for their money. For a fraction of the price you get some SERIOUS quality sound and stage.

unmatched at 300.00-500.00
I picked this up “new” for under 300.00, some time in March of this year. It’s great for movies, gaming, music.Dedicated Dialogue control on the controller.Night mode works great. (Reduces bass increases dialogue)You can control the soundbar using the HEOS app.Setup is easy. You can add wireless rear channel surrounds.ARC works great.Till this day, I’ve never had any cosmetic or HW issues. You have to be very realistic about the use of this product, it’s a good, well rounded option. If you’re a critical listener or an audiophile, buy separate components and individual speakers. If you’re a movie theater junkie, again, buy separate components. But if you’re looking for a soundbar for music, gaming and movies that will work well in a guest room, bed room or a medium sized room then I’d recommend this to anyone.

Was good at first
This soundbar was great at first. Had it connected to my computer through optical. It's been 32 days since I bought it and has since stopped playing sound and will not connect to any device. I've tried using the app and have had no luck. Wish I could return it.

Love the sound bar, but it does have issues.
Love the sound bar & it’s sound. The one con for me is the wireless sub doesn’t pair when you turn the sound bar on. I have to go turn off the sub & turn it back on to get it to pair. I expected more out of a $900 soundbar.

Not Impressed
I just want to say I am basing my review on the retail price of this product. It is listed at $899.99 but I purchased it for $347. A great deal right? My first impressions are mixed. The sound bar is smalll and easy to place just about anywhere. The set up was super easy and straight forward. The controls are simple and easy to use. The sound from the bar is crisp. The dialogue setting works very good once you find the settings you prefer based on what you are watching (sports, movies, etc). For the size of the bar the sound is solid. The subwoofer delivers minimal bass and is very disappointing for a $900 dollar system. I have heard soundbar subwoofers under $300 sound more punchy and deliver solid bass. As a whole I would have been very upset had a paid $900. But for $350 it is a decent system but there are better at the $350 price point. The atmos was a big disappointment. I watched the move “Covenant” (great movie) in atmos and I didn’t experience any sense of the full range that atmos is suppose to deliver. I know it is not true atmos with up firing speakers but if you are going to claim atmos sound one should at least experience some sense of the full spectrum atmos is suppose to deliver. The HEOS system has been a pain in the butt setting up. I owned a Denon receiver in the pass so I already have a HEOS account. Of course I can’t recall my password. When setting up your app be warned it will have to do a system update and it will take about 45 mins. So be patient. Once it finally updates, I went to recover my password which at first was simple like most recovery processes. Once I received my temporary password I logged onto the app and it prompts you to change your password. I entered the new password and hit the continue button and it gave me the “please wait” indicator. This locked up the app and will not allow you to do anything. You can’t even back out of the page. After 20 mins, I had to reboot my phone to stop it from processing. Once I logged back in it brought me back to the password reset and again locked up the app. I repeated this at least four times. There is no way to bypass the reset making the app completely useless. It was my intention to see if making adjustments through the HEOS app improved the bass and overall performance but I can’t find out because the app won’t allow me to get pass the password reset.Overall, I would recommend you select a different system that is more user friendly and delivers better bass quality and true atmos so you can get a more fulfilling experience. I will probably return this system and get another one (which I hate returning things but this just isn’t cutting it). My previous soundbar was a Sonos which is in the same price range at original price and the sonos delivers an amazing sound experience even without having the atmos version. The bass the Sonos delivers is room shaking but you are able to easily udjust it to your liking.UPDATE ~ Returned unit. I am confused by reading some the the great reviews. Maybe my subwoofer just wasn’t working properly because the bass was not impressive at all even on max. Not having bass took away from the overall performance. I love deep bass and the unit I had just didn’t deliver.
