it worked for me
After having tried many different things which did not succeed in scaring the pigeons away, i decided to order this gel. It actually was quite efficient in repelling those birds. It is very gooey, so I recommend that you first put some masking tape on the surface you wish to apply on. Otherwise I suspect it may be extremely difficult to remove. It is harmless to the birds, but they obviously dislike it and stay away. Will see how long it lasts.

Applicator doesn’t work!
This product is awful! The product is impossible to get out if the applicator. I tried pushing the back end to get thegel out, it was impossible m! Then I squeezed the applicator and the back part came out so now it’s a mess, I have the gel all over my hands and can’t get it off! Don’t buy this!!!!

It works!
I had a lot of pigeons landing on my balcony and the roof below. Not anymore! Definitely works. Downside it is messy and im not sure the best way to apply it. I did it in spots on the balcony rail and then very messily on the roof below (that nobody sees). After a few days of feathers getting stuck to the gel, I think they had stopped coming. I scraped the gel off the balcony but its still a bit sticky. I think maybe ok to paint over it now though.....As someone mentioned you need to cut the cap back an inch or 2, then pop the seal with something. I used a wire hanger. Have something to seal the cap afterwards, because once it pops it doesnt stop!

It works immediately!!!
No more bird feces in my garden! It worked the same day we applied it to the areas the birds like to visit. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Must buy! Great product that gets the job done!

Useless!
No need to waste your money really! Wherever I spread around my balcony and all the places birds stand, this didn’t work at all. They still just come and stand!!!

Fantastic item! Works brilliantly if you follow the instructions (small mounds 50mm apart) and don’t put too much on. Applied on the top rail of privacy screens to prevent birds roosting and creating a huge mess below. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Not one single bird seen roosting and best of all, no mess to clean up!

excelente producto, si ahuyenta las palomas, anteriormente intente con la cinta reflejante y no funciona, se la ponen de corbata las palomas, luego intente con los buhos, tampoco funciona, pero este gel si que funciona!!

I had bought it as I have a severe pigeon problem in my balconies. I have applied it but there is absolutely no effect on the pigeons. In fact they freely sit on the gel

I have reviewed this product before, so this is an update. Bought to keep birds from settling on a patio trellis. We originally put it on and a pigeon perched on it. It did not do so again, and other birds avoided it as well. Twelve months on, it has worn off, so we purchased another tube to top it up. Birds seems to have learned a lesson and avoid the trellis, even when there is no longer product on it. This does work and I would recommend it.

Well, I’m not one typically do a review. But the complexity of this one struck a cord with me. My first hesitation was in regards to wondering if it would just melt off in our AZ heat. Saw another review that said it would not. I totally agree. It stayed put and did not get fazed by our summer heat one bit. I was so happy with results of the first tube that I ordered another one but was still a bit short even after 2. The birds were gone instantly. It was amazing. My cars were getting assaulted by the birds. Like beyond belief. It was easy to install, not visually offensive. But then about the time the 3rd tube showed up, so did the monsoons. Here is where I lost a bit of my excitement. The leaves and sticks dropping from the tree in the storms would land in the gel and then fall further onto our cars. So about 3-4 weeks in and I was totally regretting my decision. I hesitated to use the 3rd one I ordered. Birds were gone, but now I had the most sticky gel spots, all over my cars. At this point I totally regretted putting this up. A few more weeks passed and I started to get a little bit of bird droppings again in one spot. I ventured up into the tree to find one area I didn’t get very well. I also noticed that most of the gel had a nice coating of very small debris, bugs and other fun stuff. I had also noticed the amount of gel hitting the cars had slowed way down as well. So I decided to go ahead and use the 3 tube on the spot I missed, and the other areas I hadn’t done. That was about 3 weeks or so ago. Still not getting much at all of the gel coated leaves and sticks coming down. At this point I’m torn, I don’t know if I would go this route or try using the spikes. The other down fall is as the branches grow down they blow and get into the gel also, so then when I trim anything in that area, I’m getting to a bit of a sticky mess. I don’t really regret it at this point. But the ease of install up front, kind of lost its shine by the mess after. I think this stuff is awesome and definitely works if you know what your in for. Pros: Easy to use. Works great at keeping the birds away. Not visibly noticeable. Cons: Sticky is an understatement. It’s a mess if you touch it or gets on what you don’t want it on. Once it’s installed, it’s a (near impossible) mess to remove. It does not go very far. My larger tree branch’s needed multiple beads. 10’ then turns in 5’ or even into 2.5’ on the really thick areas. Trimming the tree and regrowth into the gelled areas is a mess.
