I ordered the wrong size. My fault. So axle is a tad longer than required. Still, easy to fit and does the job. No complaints.

Bought as the old axel had snapped in half on a cheap branded kids bike. I ended up using the old bearings and nuts from the old axel as the threads were the same which was handy. I did use the new nuts from this though as they weren't chewed up from being undone with an adjustable wrench.End result, kids bike fixed for very little money.

Easy to install and replaced a bent rear axil with free bearings. The new racers came bent but was able to switch out with the set which were being replaced, which is why I gave four stars. The bearings are not included. Typically these are 6mm but worth checking if you plan to replace the bearings along with the axle.

Really poor quality. Travelled less than 100 miles and bent up like a pretzel. Utterly useless. Spend the money and get a reputable one

I'm afraid this axel bent in just a few weeks of pretty lightweight use. I thought this would replace & upgrade a quick release axel which had broken, and it did fit well, but has bent enough to let the wheel rub on the frame. In fact it flexes just with pedal-load on the chain! We can see the gear cassette flexing forwards.Removed and straightened it to keep my sons bike mobile until we get a stronger replacement. Straightening was not difficult, the steel is very soft. I wonder if this was not properly heat treated maybe.
