Works great with my Craftsman garage door
I've been wanting a way to monitor my garage door and close it remotely if I needed too. This is a good solution. I've looked at more expensive solutions but they either require a subscription or acted like a strange quasi remote that required "learning" codes or frequences. This is a great simple solution if you have a garage door opener that supports it, all it does is act like a simply switch relay, this works with simple garage doors that just use a simple doorbell style switch (once a circuit is complete it signals the garage door to operate). I love how this works in tandem with the yolink garage door sensor, in the app they merge into one page that shows you the status of your garage door along with the ability to open and close it. Very smart. Setup was fairly simple, just hook the controller to the same wires as your button, connect the power, and stick the sensor on the top most part of the garage door. Once everything is installed, just scan the devices QR codes in the app to add them to your home hub.Now I can monitor and control my garage remotely for any reason! Great solution. I also bought the yolink camera to use in my garage for extra peace of mind.

Very good product and Great product support team!
I'm a 63 year old grandma so I don't want to go up the ladder and install this on the garage motor up there, so I ended up setting up right next to my wall opener. Installation is straight forward and activation was a breeze. But after a couple of days of use my garage door won't close all the way. Ask my brother to check on the garage rails and some clean up happening. It's opening but again not closing all the way down leaving a 2 inches of gap. Customer support team was very responsive and sent me another unit. Again it worked initially but after a day not closing again. So I was forced to get up and install the unit up the motor itself. Same thing happening not closing properly, I even adjusted the limit and force adjustment but to no avail. I ask the customer support if they can exchange it with the Finger opener and they gladly sent it to me. Finger opener works seamlessly. I believed there's something not right with my garage motor and rails.Very thankful to the Yolink customer/product support team who really help me out to make this work outI have several yolink products like yolink hub, water leak sensor, temperature/humidity sensor(4 pcs), smart plug and lately the garage sensor. I definitely recommend Yolink products.

Works flawlessly
Love the YoLink brand. My home system devices are quickly growing in numbers. I found that the more direct wired controller was not compatible with my Garage Door Opener, so got this solution instead. It paired with the rest of the system easily, as all my devices have. It mounted easily next to the wall switch. Positioned finger above switch pad per instructions. Viola opens garage with phone app interface. Also have the Garage Door Open/Closed indicator interface device, and the two pair together in function. The same device icon display lets you open or close the garage, and also verify if it is in opened or closed position. Couldn't be happier.

So simple to install and feature packed
Years ago stumbled on the YoLink hub to use with a door sensor in my mailbox, Box us steel and stone and 100 + feet from my router. This was the only device to work. I tried three others. So, when my garage door was mysteriously open in the morning (?) I knew I needed a garage door sensor. Amazon search first hit was for a YoLink device. One needs the "hub" for it to work. It is not bluetooth or wifi but LoRa. Amazing range and sensitivity. Hub does need to be connected to wifi. Set up was a snap. They have great videos online. One could just use the sensor to tell if door is up or down using a smartphone. Or, add the controller which offers many features...a notification when the door is left open for a set period of time. Very easy user interface. Highly recommended.

Works Great, Wireless opener sensor is a real difference
I replaced a TailWind garage door opener with the Yolink. There are very few smart garage openers available that also have a wireless garage door sensor. I had tried the Zooz Zen16 with a Zwave tilt sensor but I could never get the tilt sensor and Zen16 to work together, Zooz said it wasn't supported even though it was sold as a kit.For whatever reason, the Tailwind sensor didn't want to stay secure on the rails of my garage door. Also with most of the other kits you are going to get a long spool of wires that you need to somehow neatly manage between the garage door opener and the door. With the yolink you just attach the wireless sensor and voila no wires!I've had it running for about 2 weeks and no issues and the wireless sensor is still reporting 100% battery. I have it it configured in Home Assistant and the response is instant. Since it's in Home Assistant, I also bridge it to Apple HomeKit so it's also in CarPlay. If this product is an example of the quality+ease of the other things they sell, I'll be buying more of their products.

Everything I need in a smart garage door controller
In 2022 I bought this product and I was disappointed in the Alexa support. I was researching a garage door controller again and saw that the product could now do what it lacked in 2022. I can confirm it is quite an excellent product. Using the YoLink's app to create a couple of "scenes" and then link them into a couple of Alexa "routines" I was able to maximize the easy of opening and closing the door. It was easy to install and works great with my garage door opener (happens to be a less widely used Marantec brand opener). My only complaint is that the usb cable that is provided that connects the controller to an AC adapter would benefit from being 1 - 2 feet longer. Regardless this product still deserves 5 stars.
