Oribe is one of the best brands for keeping blondes blonde and not brassy. I will only use this product on my hair and it is also recommended for human hair extensions/wigs.

Let me start off by saying I do a LOT of research on things before I purchase them, from tires to fitness supplements to shampoo to almost everything. My wife has invested a lot of time and money into transforming her naturally very dark brown (almost black) hair to a light blonde (not platinum). Her hair is very thick and is difficult to take color. Given that investment, we want to do everything possible to protect it while maintaining the look and to get the most 'bang for our buck' out of the color treatment. Anyone that colors their hair knows that it can be expensive, especially if you're going for a drastic change as she did. Before we got this product, I went on an exhaustive multi-night web search for the best hair care products for color treated hair, specifically blonde. She has tried numerous products over the years, mostly ones that were recommended from her hairdresser that can be purchased at regular stores (Walmart, Target, etc). All of those turned her hair brassy and dull very quickly...in a matter of a couple of weeks. We were searching for a better product that would not only lock in her color and make it last, but to enhance it if possible. I navigated page after page, site after site, review after review, reading about dozens of products. After reading positive reviews on this particular ORIBE shampoo, we ordered it along with four others. My wife used all four products within the course of about 8 or 9 days. The ORIBE was far superior to all of the others (Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo, Loreal EverPure Blonde Shampoo, Pureology Perfect 4 Platinum) that we ordered and she tried. She left them all on for about three minutes but the difference was certainly noticeable. The Fudge made virtually no difference; it didn't lighten it or turn it brassy. The Loreal wasn't bad but not incredible. The Pureology was actually very good and definitely the 2nd best of these four products. After she used the ORIBE, it was evident that it was the clear leader. It did NOT make it one bit brassy; it made it MUCH brighter and shinier. It actually looked just like the day she came home from getting it colored! It made such a difference, that when she went BACK to the same hairdresser to get her roots touched up, the hairdresser commented 'what are you using on your hair? It looks amazing!' My wife told her ORIBE and she knew the brand. Needless to say, my wife has already ordered another bottle (the full size one) and will be using this product on her hair for many years I'm sure.

Good product

I bought this conditioner as an addition to the corresponding shampoo. I know that this is a lot of money to spend on a conditioner but I wanted to try this brand for a long time and finally took the plunge. I love it!!! It has a light perfume smell to it. No overwhelming but it stays with you all day. I think the scent even smells expensive!!! I have fine, thin, color treated short hair. My hair is flat. This conditioner seemed perfect for me. It is not heavy and you don't need to use very much. The directions said to leave it on for one minute before rinsing which I did. After blow drying, I feel it made my hair super shiny and soft. But I was still able to curl it with a curling iron and the curls held great. This is a perfect conditioner for me. Even though it's pricey I feel it's worth it. I will certainly buy this product again. With the little amount that you need the bottle should last quite a long time.
