Trijicon Reflex Tenebraex Killflash Anti-Reflection Device

The RX22 anti-reflection accessory performs as advertised, virtually eliminating flash or glare from reflected light falling on the objective lens of the RX01 reflex sight that could spook a hunter's downrange quarry. The RX22 employs an open honeycomb style grid that slightly reduces light transmission to the RX01's user and also superimposes a chicken wire type grid for the user to look through - neither effect being detrimental to using the RX01 effectively. However there is a major incongruity which reduced this evaluation to 4 stars. The RX22's housing has an extremely shiny, reflective finish - by far the most reflective surface on any part of the overall firearm/optic system. Painting the exterior of the RX22 with a flat black Birchwood Casey touch-up pen resulted in a matte finish that should have been an as-manufactured feature of the RX22.

This item is a no brainer for your trijicon reflex IF you value not telegraphing your weapon or position placement because of reflection/glare to the enemy, whomever that may be.Easy application-just screw on. Looks good & rugged-adds a honeycomb/gridded look when sighting downrange. Very little difference in appearance viewing through sight than without it-practice with it on enough & you get used to it. Acquisition of dot is not adversely affected. View from in front of weapon is a welcome nice touch also-looks more aggressive.What more can be said? If you care enough to send the very best downrange..get the killflash, and if you're good, they won't see you coming!Hope this helps you make a solid purchase decision...Semper Fi and carry on......

Works as expects. It screws into the objective of my 1x24 Trijicon Reflex sight. Wish that it could function with the polarizing filter installed. You must remove the polarizing filter to install the Killflash.

The review regarding the incorrect posting is outdated and should be removed. I got what i wanted and the description was what it is. That being said, this does exactly what it's supposed to. I would agree that the edge is a little too reflective. For what this is, all should be flat black.. It isn't bad however, and would not give your position away. If it's bothersome, a flat black paint on the facing from does the trick...
