Huge mark-up for so-so product
Well my daughter saw this in a catalog and just had to have it. She had just completed first grade with virtual learning due to the pandemic and I offered to get her a treat. We read the reviews about how difficult this was to make and I told her I wouldn't make it for her, but yes... I made it for her. It took me multiple hours over a couple of nights and parts were very frustrating. I didn't pull the loops out nearly as far as shown on the package but it's held up well to a month of pretty light use.The thing that really annoyed me was that the seller didn't bother to remove the clearance sticker from a well-known retail store. I mean I understand that people see an opportunity and cash in on it, but could you have the decency to remove the sticker so I wouldn't know that I paid $20ish for something the seller bought for $3?

Poorly designed. Nearly impossible to make. Gave up
I’ve knitted doll sweaters before, and my 9 year old daughter has knit a hat and completed kiwi crates intended for kids 14+. However, we both gave up on this. The dimensions of holes in the netting in relation to the yarn in relation to the hook simply don’t work. I don’t think it’s possible that they did any user testing with actual children or even teens. Very disappointed in Alex. Wasted my money. Hope you won’t waste yours.

Lame and overpriced
Whomever invented this junk is a genius. They're charging extra to make you do the sweatshop labor. I bought a dino plushy that was 3 times bigger for less cash. But my kid wanted this, so I bought it. She did two loops and didn't like it, so now here I am finishing it because I wasted the money on it. Crocheting is easier and more fun than this junk.

Very difficult to use
I bought this Item for my five-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. The skill level required is way beyond that of a five-year-old. This item requires very good fine motor skills. In addition, the crochet hook provided was much too large for the project. In general, I would not recommend this product.

This is a hard craft for a child to do
This is challenging for me do. My 7 year old really wanted this for her birthday. This is not something that can be done on their own. There is prep work to cut all the yarn into the recommended 2 yards. It's hard for my 7 year old to get the hook through the small holes with yarn. She gave up on trying to do this so it will end up being my project. I don't recommend this craft, especially for younger children even if the age is for 7+.
