304 Stainless, we'll see.......had ALOT of orange staining from the 410's installed back in 2023 as looked pretty bush league nasty. My App has them subject to Minnesota weather. If this, as advertised 304 'made in china' product performs after this winter, will update the review for this product. Magnet test, very slight attraction. These have threads to the head and are pretty sharp, haven't popped one yet. Thanks for offering these at such a discount, AMZN again.......'ships' from AMZN so they got here quick and save me some $$$.

High quality. Excellent material. I Torque tested them beyond their claimed strength. Very high quality threads. Sharp. Polished.

I know they're just screws, but so others know, these were consistent, with a sharp point and sharp threads.

I can’t tell if this is truly a 300 series stainless but it looks like a very nice screw with a good point and full threads to the head. They are very soft, to be expected from stainless, and will require a proper pilot hole if working with anything but actual sheet metal or aluminum stock. I wouldn’t consider these to be self-tapping either. I was fastening sheet aluminum to steel 1/8” angle iron (trailer skin repair) and needed to be careful with speed; tough to find a balance between too fast (galling and melting of the threads) and too slow (twisting off heads). I think I ended up messing up a good handful getting the job done. Overall, I’d recommend for the price and finish, but next time would go up in size to #12 or #14 to help reduce breakage.

Excellent stainless-steel screws that performed well. Exactly what I ordered. [I have noted many comments about these screws being "soft", with recommendations not to buy. The buyer must understand that austenitic (Series 300) stainless steel is a relatively soft material designed for high corrosion resistance and cryogenic applications, so most materials must be pre-drilled before installing the screws and care must be taken to prevent stripping out the drive recess because of over-driving the screw. I used these screws in treated softwood lumber, using an awl to make a starter hole and beeswax for lubrication, and subsequently had no problem driving these screws tightly into the wood.] {Revised the original review because of my counting mistake and added the above note.}
