TAKPART Electronic Ignition Points Conversion Kit Compatible for LUCAS 25D + DM2

Arrived fast and found it too be just perfect.

I have spent over £250 to replace the original points with this supposed electronic ignition and back again to the original points since this doesn't work at all.

Good price. Delivered promptly. It is described as for a Lucas 25d distributor, which is exactly what I needed. However the base plate doesn't fit. Admittedly it is the same as the pictures, but I thought these were generic. It looks more like it's for the later 45d Lucas distributor. Luckily I was replacing a similar failed unit, so I removed the module and fixed it to thebase plate I had. So far working fine. I would like to order a spare but not sure if it will be correct or the same again?

Base plate screw holes did not line up with DM2 distributor had to use the accuspark base plate previously fitted. The Magnetic sensor was not a tight fit on the distributor drive shaft again had to retain the accuspark one. Overall not satisfactory at all.

Lasted 6 months, buy a branded part instead!

Trying to fit into 25d distributor Will not fit on the base plate. Holes do not align up.
