Product performed as advertised. It would be a bit better with a couple of extra USB ports and maybe a SD card reader. All in all, very happy with the unit

Using it to connect a 3rd display to an Intel laptop which only supports 2 external displays via a docking station. No issues so far.

This is a great little tool. I didn't see many reviews on this item so found the details at the startech website. I was using a Windows Surface Pro with 2 monitors, which were both looking great with this little device!! One was plugged in with a mini displayport adapter directly into the tablet and the second was VGA into this device. Fab.

ミニドッキングステーションという新しいカテゴリーが気になり、 購入してみました。 ＵＳＢ３．０接続のドッキングステーションですが、 電源を必要としないので、持ち運びに便利です。 据置型のドッキングステーションと比べるともちろん 拡張性は良くないですが、 旅行・出張にはこれだけあれば十分な機能と思います。 ＵＳＢから追加できるのは ＶＧＡ出力 ＨＤＭＩ出力 ― ＶＧＡとＨＤＭＩの どちらか片方が使えます。 ＵＳＢポート ― このドッキングステーションを繋げるのに ＵＳＢを使ってしまうので、 ＵＳＢハブ が一つ付いていると 大変便利 ＲＪ４５ 有線のＬＡＮ － ホテルの無線など 共有人数が多くて、 速度に不安があるとか、 公共の無線は 保安上の理由で 使いたくないという方には有線のＬＡＮが 必要です。 驚くのは 軽いこと。 ８０グラムなので、 軽いＰＨＳの電話器くらいでしょうか。 カバンに入れておいても気になりません。 出張の多いビジネスマンが、 宿泊先のホテルで 快適に仕事をするための必須アイテム。 これがあれば、ウルトラブックでも フルサイズのノートパソコン並みに よく働きます。 ドライバーのインストールは必要ですが ＵＳＢポートに差し込むと 自動的にインストールが始まります。 一つだけ難点があります。 格納されたＵＳＢ３．０ケーブルを取り出す際に、 固くてなかなか取り出せない。 慣れるまで爪には気を付けたほうが良いでしょう。
