Great purchase for my 4 year old.
I bought these for my 4 year old, and they have been a great purchase! He loves his first set of "skates" and buying these was a fantastic idea, since he falls quite a bit. He loves the gloves, he likes to wear them out like accessory gloves. I'm going to have to buy him a pair of thin fingerless gloves just so he'll stop wearing these out and about (before he loses one!) hahahaThe gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads all fit him fantasticly. I don't think the gloves will fit him in a few years, but I'm sure the knee pads and the elbow pads will. The quality, as far as I can tell, is really good. They've held up to my 4 year old and other children who come over for play dates. I've had no problems with the Velcro or with the hard case around the knee and elbow. The gloves don't have any holes or tears in them yet. Overall I think they were a great purchase.

Does the Job and Our Little One Wears Them Voluntarily
Our little girl (age 2) loves the graphics enough to wear these. They seem to function fine and have obviously saved her knees on occasion. The knee and elbow pads are more forgiving as far as size. The gloves are still a bit too big for our little one (average to above average height, a little below average weight).

Nice starter set for a toddler to protect against scrapes and minor bumps
My twin boys are still too small for these but I bought 2 sets after buying the girl's version for my 2-year old daughter. Since I compared the two and the difference is only the color I thought the review might be helpful here as well. The set is really small but all the pieces fit her perfectly. I uploaded a picture of her in them to the page for the girl's set if it helps to see them on someone tiny. I was looking around my house for something for reference the size and the best I could come up with was a coke can - the pads fit pretty snug around the can and were just a touch taller than it.As for the protection it should do just fine against scrapes and minor bumps. It won't do much to absorb a fall but will provide a good enough buffer between their knees and the concrete. Considering my daughter is on a small skateboard under supervision on sidewalks and probably wont get much speed at all these should protect her very well. Any fall with increased force or speed and I cant see these really doing much to protect her since there's nothing in these to actually absorb an impact.

Very nice starter set....
But size was an issue. My son is 3 1/2 and average in size (he just started wearing 4t clothes and is 40lbs if that helps) and the gloves and knee pads are too small for him. The gloves take forever to get on due to the small opening and size of glove, and the knee pad straps are a little shorter than expected making them too tight for comfort when my son puts them on. He says its pinches his thighs and wants to take them off within 5 mins. The pattern is cute and they seem to be made well, but the sizing issue means i will looking to get another set soon.

Does the trick! Good protection for a 3-6 yo.
My son is around 41" tallish, probably weighing in the high 30s (lbs.).These fit great and probably will fit fine for another year or two. (Saw another reviewer say their 6 year old, 52 pounds and 45" tall child had these pads fit perfectly.)I ordered these to have my son learn to ride the bike without training wheels, but have also used it for him to ride a Razor scooter. They are absolutely necessary for the scooter. I have not tried getting him to ride the bike sans training wheels yet.Protection wise, they work well. He's taken several spills so far, and the only downside is that the transparent plastic that covers the reptilian pattern underneath is less visible due to the scratches on the plastic pad itself. In fact, I should mention that I liked them so much that, after buying a set for me, I bought my parents a set so that my son will have a set handy when he visits them after school.Definitely recommended!

So cute and fit great. My son is 2 but in the 100 ...
So cute and fit great. My son is 2 but in the 100 percentile for weight and height... he is about the size of a 4 year old i'd say and these fit just fine. He loves the gloves and thinks they are just so cool haha... Great deal compared to buying at a local store.

Cute and easy
Bought these for my 8 yr old to crawl around on the floor when he does “lizard mode.” Pants were getting holy knees. He puts all of it on, only needs help with the elbow pads.More comfortable over clothes than on skin.

Perfect for a Toddler
I have a very large 2.5 year old (~39" tall and 38lbs) and they fit him perfectly (they would also fit a smaller child, there is adjustment room with the velcro). I anticipate he will be able to wear these until he is ~4. He leaves them on, so they must be pretty comfortable (especially if he is wearing a long sleeve shirt). I found the stores only carried youth sized pads, so I was happy to find something for the younger ones here.
