This was a gift for a child under 10. They really enjoyed the different experiments, especially the push versus pull ones. Being able to show how magnets can attract or repel objects was very neat and is done in a way that kids understand.

Another great Learning Resources set, really good quality and all the activities are clearly set out in the instructions. Kept a 7 and a 9 year old amused for quite a while, though they did need some parental input at times to keep them right. Would be a cool set to use in a primary school setting too.

This set is very high quality set and brilliant for STEM learning, especially because it’s very educational and about magnetic forces. I used this with my nephew and he was really into it! We did so much on a lazy Sunday afternoon together and he particularly likes the magic floating magnets. Making our own compass was another fun activity we really enjoyed doing and I briefly went over some of the real life STEM careers people have and he showed a bit of interest in that. The booklet is absolutely brilliant and I really like how detailed and fun it is. The kit is jam packed with strings to do and all of the components are made well, strong and durable, easy to assemble and high quality. I think for the price it is superb value for money because of the activities included and how educational it is. The kit is perfectly giftable too so it would make a fab present for a loved one or even just for a family science based play activity. I highly recommend this kit.
