Victorinox Fibrox Straight Chef's Knife in Blister Pack, 15 cm Size, Black

This is the best knife to buy at a budget price. Seen lot of videos and reviews, decided to buy a Mercer then I bought a sabatier, but after buying this victorinox, I just regretted buying the previous two. Sharp, balanced, good handle and maintain edge.

The knife size recieved from 1 end the the other was 15inches and the blade size itself was around 10inches had to return it for it’s bigger the. What I was looking for

Bought this knife ***15*** years ago. Frequently used, it's still in tip top, perfect, shape. Don't know how it could have performed any better. The plastic handle is as new, the blade still unblemished and sharp. Top recommendation,

It's hard to go wrong with a Victorinox "Fibrox" handled knife. The fit, finish, and sharpness is great, and they use a good quality steel- 1.4110? When they actually lose their initial sharpness, the knife can be easily maintained with a honing steel, and later, a tungsten carbide "V" sharpening device("Accusharp"). My knife edge has held up very well, but I'm just a home cook. I have an 8" Fibrox chef knife, a 6", and now a 5", all with Fibrox handles. One of the things that I like about these is that the handle is angled "up" a bit, to provide more clearance for the hand knuckles. Victorinox makes good knives.
