Is the color of the top beige or gold?

Pretty close but it looks beige to me

Do I need to order a liner too or is it save in a shower that last 20 minutes or so?

The material is thin though nice quality shower curtain& didnt seem to be water repellent. I bought a shower liner right after buying this shower curtain.

Has anyone braved machine washing this curtain? Did it survive? If so, what temp and cycle? Did it survive the dryer?

Yes it lived... I used cold cycle and air dry in the dryer
