Wrong description or just missing parts
I ordered this item specifically for its supposed to be feature that it has a removable infuser and strainer included. Also the size doesn't really match the description that it can hold 1.5L. On the other hand the product looks really good, quality is good, packed and delivered in very good way.

Good Value
Very happy with this product after three uses now. The main attraction was the built in tea steeper and coffee filter, and they certainly do their job (we've used both now). The pouring spout is precise, and friends comment on its sleek looks. It's thermal properties are not as strong as other glass thermal carafes, but it is enough for my wife's needs (keeping hot for about 4 hours). We keep it out of the dishwasher and wash the inside of the lid thoroughly each time. No complaints so far!

I have to admit that initially I was a bit reluctant to order this after reading some of the reviews. I had asked a question here on Amazon and was impressed to have a response from the seller the next morning. I took a risk and ordered it, and am sure glad I did. I was looking for a carafe to brew tea once and drink throughout my work day at my desk (working from home), instead of constantly having to brew fresh tea. Sometimes I use fresh tea leaves, sometimes tea bags. I immediately poured some hot water in to rinse it, then made my first tea (in the prewarmed carafe). My heart almost sank when it poured half a cup, then barely a drizzle. I tried the lid any which way, and yes, pressed the button. I asked a question on here again, and was pleasantly surprised to have a super prompt response from their customer support to reach out to them right away. I didn't need to, as in the meantime I figured out that it was because I left the teabag in the strainer (didn't have loose tea today), which must have plugged the spout. So, that was absolutely no fault of the product and I now love it. The 1.4L/50oz. size is perfect, the style is great, and it's INCREDIBLE that this carafe does not drip. No drips AT ALL. I look forward to using this for tea in the colder months, and in the summer use it for iced water on the balcony. And seeing how quick the seller is to respond here, I feel confident that should one ever encounter any issues, they will respond. 5/5 Edited to add: - When pouring one cup every hour, I found that the carafe keeps the drink hot for 5.5 hours. - When not opening it, it kept boiling water hot for 13 hours overnight, to the point where I could only put my finger in for a few seconds after that time.

What a shame. Very appealing design, but fails to do its job. Coffee no longer warm enough to enjoy after only an hour or two and the filter lets through too many grounds. Very disappointing for a comparatively expensive product.

This is a fantastic item--exactly what I wanted in a teapot. It has thermos-like qualities that keep the tea warm for hours, though like any themos as you drink each cup some of the heat will be lost into the airspace replacing the hot liquid. I still use my Flying Tea Gourd as a thermos when not at my desk, but this has largely replaced it most days at work. The double strainer basket design is awesome. I brew my tea in the larger basket and remove it after 3-4 min of steeping to reduce bitterness. The plastic does not get hot to the touch and it is an easy to pull out. I tend to place it into a cup in case I want another, weaker pot of tea on a second steeping later. One can also leave the leaves in the basket and the upper stainless steel basket will make sure they do not get into each cup you pour. I do have one Irish friend I drink tea with who likes to leave the leaves in the pot forever and temper the bitterness with milk. That way, you don't even need to remove the inner basket. The design of this is amazing. The container pours well, seals well--I add honey to the pot and shake it upside down instead of stirring--and looks attractive. Probably the only thing that took me a minute to figure out was the button on top that controls whether the tea pours or not. The first time I used I thought I had to turn it to open it for a pour. Apparently I forgot to RTFM. Last, I am not a coffee person and such will never touch my own teapot, but I suspect that this design would probably work wonderfully for cold brewing coffee as well...

I purchased this carafe a few weeks ago and have been using it daily since and it has delivered on all of my expectations for a good product. The Lagom has a quality build and feels that way too. I was a little skeptical of the wooden handle being attached to the molded top but after using it I am very happy with its construction. I prefer stainless bodies over the glass inserts as I've had too many breaks over the years or separate at the neck and cause a mess. The little quality detail I love the most is the button. It doesn't feel cheap and is very satisfying to use. The seals work great and you don't need to twist excessively to seat them properly. If you are a tea drinker, like me, you will enjoy having the different straining options. I couldn't get the flow to stay consistent with the "drink now" method using the stainless strainer as the leaves just clog it up, but the "later" method works great and helps with keeping the carafe clean. It is not the cheapest carafe you can buy but definitely worth it. You get a very well-made product with a unique aesthetic and great functionality for an affordable price. Cheaper carafes tend not to last and just look generic overall. If any of my other carafes need replacement over the years I will definitely be looking at the offerings from this brand to replace them.

I use this only for water - warm in cooler and cold weather, cold in really hot weather. So far, I'm pleased with the effectiveness of its thermal properties. I love the aesthetics, the shape, the handle. It's just the right size, not too heavy when full. My only complaint is that it doesn't dry out inside overnight, even though it is turned upside down on a draining rack with lots of air movement underneath.
