Awesome vac bag!
The thickness of the plastic is superb. The ease in which you can vac can't be beat. No more making bags and wasting time. Top quality bag

These bags are perfect. I have used them over and over
These bags are perfect. I have used them over and over. I simply cut off the top to open the bag, wash them out, and dry them. And they are ready for the next vacuum sealed item. Of course, they get shorter and shorter with each use. I write with a sharpie on the top of the bag, just above the seal. I date them and toss them in the freezer. When opened, I cut off the part of the bag with the date, and description of what is in the bag. They are then read for the next use !!!

Too many bags don't allow vacuum to be pulled
The first 40 or so bags worked great, then all of a sudden, bag after bag wouldn't have a vacuum pulled on it. I immediately switch to the NESCO roll material, and that worked great. Tried some more Avid bags, no vacuum. Eventually after wasting about 10 of the Avid bags because a vacuum couldn't be pulled, magically, the Avid bags started working again. After going through the first 100 bags, I moved on to the second set of 100 bags. The first 5-10 bags worked fine, then the same problem occurred, where a vacuum couldn't be pulled. I tried the NESCO roll material, it worked great. Back to the Avid bags, no vacuum. I grabbed some bags from the middle of the bunch of 100 bags, they worked. I can't even tell exactly how the good Avid bags differ from the bad bags, all I know is that I'm wasting lots of time and getting really frustrated with the Avid Armor bags. About 20 of the 110 I've used so far have gone in the trash, because a vacuum couldn't be pulled. The NESCO bag rolls are smooth on both outsides and cross-hatched on the insides - they work.
