Piper Recliner and Swivel Glider

I didn’t want to spend a thousand on a rocking chair for my baby’s room so we opted for this glider. So so happy with it, it’s comfortable, the fabric is nice, and I didn’t have to spend a leg and an arm. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a smooth glider. Super easy to put together, great size, and worth the money!

We did quite a bit of searching on various sites for a recliner/glider. Consider expensive options, but we don't want to spend so much on a chair that we won't likely keep beyond 2 years. Elected to get this one based on reviews and both recline/glider/rocking options. Overall very pleased with our choice. Some things to consider:* the box it arrives in is very large - we ended up unpacking it in our carport and bring it inside as two pieces* the bottom piece is very heavy - my friend and I were able to get it in, but technically I'm still on lift restrictions after my C-sxn and shouldn't have - keep that in mind when delivered* it is very easy to assemble - you literally just slide the top piece into place and push until it clicks (not a loud click) - there is a great video to demonstrate in the reviews* overall comfort was good; it's firm, but with a pillow at the back is comfortable* seat is much deeper/wider than I expected (in a good way!)* recline function is easy to use, just pull the level tucked by the seat cushion on the right side and push back; the foot rest comes up at the same time - NOTE: the footrest will stay up, but if you lean forward and put weight on it, it will start to go back down (and the back will come up). Just something to get used to.* putting the footrest back down to lock back into a chair position is easy, but does require a little oomph at the very end* I'm 5'8" and my bestie is 6'1", we both sat comfortably in the chair - the back is high enough for her to put her head back comfortably* the glider/rocker part is really nice, I can see myself using that more often than the recliner* overall quality seems solid - the armrests don't have a ton of stuffing so those will probably wear out faster than anything else - but the fabric is solid and the cushion stuffing is great* no off gassing or weird smells!

Great rocker. We have a smaller nursery and this fits nicely in the corner. It’s comfortable and gets the job done. The chair is pretty deep so it works for my husband who is taller. I put a large pillow behind me as I’m on the shorter side. No issues with squeaking. It does feel a bit cheap when reclining but for the lower price tag it’s definitely worth it.

Perfect so far, it wasnt too heavy to move. Eveything came in one fairly large box but it fit through my doorway. Very spacious!The installation was super easy, you just slide the back support in and push it down firmly til it clicks. It leans back pretty far, the swivel is smooth and it rocks very easily. It comes with a lumbar pillow and that feels pretty nice. For the price this was an absolute steal. The inner lever worked as it should.One thing i will note, there are 4 zip ties that need to be removed before you can rock forward and back. The instructions didn't mention it and if you didnt see it you'd think it was stuck. It took about 7 days to come in.I'll update this review if and when it breaks.. ( Arrived April 7th, 2025)

Perfect size for smaller living room/nursery. Good quality, amazing price, beautiful color. I ordered “cream”, knowing it would be more of a light taupe color based on reviews - which is what I wanted. Rocks, swivels, and reclines well. I looked online for weeks and weeks and didn’t find anything near this price for the quality and modern look of the rocker. My husband is 6’2 and feels comfortable in it as well. So easy to put together too! Highly recommend!

Oook. So I wouldn't give this chair more than 3 stars. I deliver in two weeks so I haven't tested it out with my baby yet. However, I have been sitting in it for the past 45 minutes to get a feel for it. First the good news.... chair came undamaged and is SUPER EASY to put together. It's literally two pieces, the back piece and the bottom of the chair which you simply just slide into one another. Like I said before I'm due in two weeks and I did it all by myself. The color and material I like as well and the back is high enough to rest my head which important bc I'm 5'8. It's also pretty comfortable, but it definitely feels like a pretty cheap chair. Not sure how long It will actually hold up for. Time will tell. It does not recline and glide at the same time which is a detail I somehow missed. I think I got crossed eyed after looking at so many chairs and reviews so that's my fault, but it's a real bummer. Now for the bad...the reclining feature is not with ease. Once you recline it takes a goods amount of effort to KEEP it reclined unless you are fully reclined basically Laying down. I'm hoping with a little more use it wont be so difficult to only slightly recline. Now for the foot rest everyone seems to have an issue with. It's not super hard to push back in but I'm tall so that may be why, it's also not super easy and it's rather loud when it pops back into place. This could be a potential problem when the baby is asleep and there is a slight struggle to close it than a decently loud POP when you push it back into place. Overall, you get what you pay for. It's not the best chair, but it will do and it's decent enough. Would be so much better if it reclined and rocked at the same time. Again, my fault for missing that but it would have made this glider so much better!
