This is my second Potensic T25. Honestly, this is an amazing drone for the value. I ordered a second one but it had issues with the GPS. Potensic worked with me and replaced the unit with a functioning unit. Value: Potensic has an amazing lineup of drones at affordable prices. I'm currently ordering another drone based on how much I enjoy the T25. If you compare competitor drones and features, you'll find Potensic is very reasonable in price. Features: The T25 has GPS mode which allows it to go into 'follow you' mode. In addition, it allows the user in real time to see the calculated height and distance on the app. Finally, it helps with fighting wind conditions. No drone is wind resistant, however, some including the T25 are capable of steady flight in slight windy conditions. The camera records and takes pictures in 1080dp. I encourage you film and take pictures in minimal wind conditions. This will ensure the best quality pictures taken in flight. In addition, the camera can swivel up and down in flight via remote which is a pretty cool feature. Besides recording and pictures, the drone features three modes of flight which helps based on your level of experience flying drones. Battery: The T25 battery is OK. I typically get about 10-12 minutes of use on each flight. Battery condition is monitored real time on the app. I recommend monitoring the battery condition on the app to ensure you do not require extra time to fly back to your location. Calculation is key in determining your flight. You'll need to monitor your battery condition to ensure you have enough charge to return. Much like driving a car low on gas. Quality: I've inadvertently crashed my drone while circling a tree and to my amazement, bent a prop. I was able to bend the prop back and immediately sent it back in flight. The quality is pretty decent. It comes with extra props and stands. Final say: The T25 is an amazing drone for the price. I encourage a few things: As a drone pilot, be aware of the surroundings and practice in an open area to get a handle of the controls; be cognizant of windy conditions, drones are not completely wind proof but some perform better than others in the wind; get an extra battery. I've been flying drones for over 7 years and have had the experience of using many different types and different manufacturers. Battery life is on the low side. I'd like to see the battery with a higher amperage. If you are looking for a quality entry level drone with a lot of features and qualities, I'd recommend using Potensic

I ordered the Potensic T25 drone for my son for Christmas and what I got was way better than I expected! We found this drone performs at a level much closer to a professional drone but without the much higher cost. It worked great right out of the box and he was impressed with the GPS feature and the return home feature that brings it home BEFORE it runs out of battery. He also really likes how easy it is to handle, how high he can fly it (literally out of sight) and how softly it comes in for a landing. I am also glad I bought the package deal that included a nice sturdy carrying case and two batteries. Needless to say, this mom did pretty good on choosing this particular drone for her 17-yo son . . . and we all know what a feat that can be . . . to find the right gift for a teenager. This one is a winner for sure!

Drone for beginner: There are so many drones on the market, where does a beginner start? I was specifically looking for a beginner friendly drone capable of at least 1080p video for less than $200. The Potensic T25 GPS Drone was the first one that caught my attention on amazon; subsequently, it set the stage for the features I believed to be important. The videos in the description were particularly helpful. I liked the look of the app interface, especially the "Beginner Mode." (Although I have flown actual airplanes,) I had never flown a drone. Once I got past the clumsy translations in the instructions, I found the operation to be very easy. The "take-off button" starts the rotors, brings them up to speed, then lifts the craft to a shallow hoover. Afterward, the controls are fairly responsive. Gyro-Stabilization: The light craft and on-board gyros do NOT provide a rock-solid platform, but I found it to be quite decent, with the exception of trying to manually land on a particular target. Fortunately, the copter has the ability to land itself. Frustration: Aside from the translations with the instructions, the only other point of frustration I encountered was an inability for the remote control to hold a charge. I made several attempts to charge it, seemingly to no avail...until I poured over the instructions again and realized that I had been neglecting to "pair" the remote with the drone. Woops! Battery life: I wish the battery life were a bit longer, but considering all of the work they have to do and remaining very light, they are very acceptable. Durability: All drones should be flown in open areas, clear of people and obstructions. That said, I felt like the area I had chosen for an early flight was quite sufficient, until the copter drifted into a fence during landing. Two of the blades smacked a rail a few times before coming to a complete stop. I figured that I was going to have to replace them with the supplied extra blades, but alas! there was no evidence of damage at all -- not that I recommend anyone try it for themselves. Four stars: I have only had it for a couple of days, but with more time to explore the controls and features, AND with better English instructions, I can easily see giving this drone 5 stars.

If you have never been a drone owner before you should get this one. This is a very light drone and that could also mean it is not stable in the windy conditions. I have taken it in beach areas and it is pretty impressive in staying stable. It connects well with the controller. The calibration when trying to do setup is a breeze. 2 circles and you are done. The battery life is around 4-6 minutes fly time (this could depend on wind conditions, if guards are applied etc) but that is what you would expect from drone in this price range. The camera is HD and it does take good shots not super high 4k type quality cause it isnt one and performs well in nice lit conditions. I have not tried in night. The controlling of camera at different angles from controller is nice. The only problem i disliked is the sound beep. Moving different angles and recording video specially starts a beep sound which is irritating. I found a solution to that you can also start a video recording from the UI in phone but yes if controller beeped less that would be great. overall great device for first time learners. It does take good distance and altitude. The 'follow me' also works well.

I've flown the drone twice now, but both times were fantastic! The calibration was easy, the setup was super simple, and once it was in the air it was an absolute breeze to fly. (no pun intended.. okay maybe a little) The video quality is decent for what you're buying, and the extra battery the unit comes with is nice for the extra flight time. To be honest, my only real complaint is I wish the battery was a bit bigger, I only averaged about a 7 minute or so flight time until it used RTH to come back due to low battery. I haven't had a chance yet to see how well the Follow Me or plan a route features work, but I will here soon. I left it at the default 30m range when I flew it for the first 2 times, because I didn't trust myself to go much further as a beginner, but it seemed to me like there was hardly any issues with that range, and I don't see why going any further will be a problem. The app you use on your phone seems to work pretty well, although it is a bit glitchy from time to time, but to be honest that may be my own fault because I am running the iOS 13 Beta on my iPhone. I do wish it took up the full screen though, as of now it has large black bars on either side and is not optimized for the XS Max screen size. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and I am very excited to continue flying this drone and continuing to learn the ins and outs of how to use it well. If you want to get your feet wet with drones, I think this is a great choice among the large amount of choices here on Amazon, and I highly recommend.
