Essential Off-Black Paint
This off-black paint has become one of my absolute favorites for painting projects. The color strikes a perfect balance—not too dark, so it’s distinguishable from true black, yet it still reads as black on most surfaces. The paint goes on smoothly with excellent coverage; usually, just 1-2 thin coats are enough for a solid, even finish.The durability is on par with other paints in the Vallejo brand—reliable and flake-free with normal use. The paint is very consistent in the bottles. While it’s best to give it a quick shake, I’ve noticed it doesn’t separate too much over time. For what it offers it seems reasonably priced.In my opinion, this is a must-have for any artist's base set—its versatility and reliability make it a staple for any paint collection.
