Is this using sunplus dts ic?

No. It's a product from china and works fine for 5.1 audio separation from spdif input. Just the input and output switch is not so good, may loosen as days pass by if you keep switching input modes and output modes.

Can i connect any speakers to this device?

Yes, This device will deliver only pre-amp signals... You need a 2.1 or 5.1 speaker system with anolog inputs.

does it come with spdif and coaxial cables?

Hi, it only came with an optical male & male plug. I suggest getting the amazon basics coaxial cables- they’re cheap and very robust and thick (200% you wont regret getting it) and also, though it does the job, the built is flimsy so you have to be careful unplugging/plugging the plugs. I think it lacked a support bracket inside to accomodate the force whenever plugged in or plugged out. The adaptor is ok, but feels short.

If I connect this device through aux how can I control the volume

You will controll it via your gadget (speakers with remote or tv box) connected in it. This acts only as a converter from analog rca to 3.5mm etc. electronics inside isnt that complicated and no infrared for remotes/volume adjustment(it will be redundant if this decoder can adjust volume while you can as well adjust it on your gadget (speakers/projector/tv etc)
