These are sturdy and well made, very legible and a good size for my son to read.I'm really disappointed though as, as a former teacher, I know that one of the best games for children this age is pelmanism. With only one card for each word and the word printed on each side, the games you can play with these are very limited. I tend to use these as pure flashcards; showing them up to my son for him to read.The example sentences are also quite boring and could be much funnier/silly to hold childrens' attention. For example, the word is "some". The example sentences is, "eat some fruit". Pretty boring. "There are some monkeys on the toilet." Much better and just as educational!These are therefore used sparsely at home.

Very well made cards and decent flip top cardboard storage box. Basically a pack of cards with a word clearly printed on both sides of each one and a short sentence putting the word in context. I have found flashcards like this help with word recognition and learning, it doesn’t take long for a child to start to recognise and say the words.They are however a bit uninspiring, considering they are aimed at five or six year olds. My five year old hasn’t been that interested in these ones so far. Since buying I have found better packs of cards are available that also help with pronunciation, how to correctly break the word down into sounds and just more interesting. These are just words on a card, so you could easily make your own, with a piece of card, a pen and google.

Perfect for homeschooling. The pack would be bigger, but I wish the cards were one sided so it would be easier to lay them out and find any word at a glance... But the quality is really good.

These are amazing cards, quality is very good and you can get a head start working with these before starting primary school. My daughter loves these as we make a game of it. Thanks
