Excellent machine dewalt meter saw

Be wary, this is not the IN version, it is is the American/UK version. This means that while it has metric measurements on the top for the fence adjustment, it has a 254MM (10") BLADE DIAMETER and a 25.4MM (1") ARBOR. I bought a bunch of metric blades thinking that this was the IN version, only to have to return them after I found out they didn't fit

It is an extremely powerful and well built miter saw. The quality is robust and the machine is sturdy. The best part I like about this saw is there is no belt system as the blade system is directly attached to the motor. Belts tend to become damaged as the power is transmitted via the belt from the motor to the circular blade in a belt system.

DeWalt is a good brand in mitre saw Im already using sliding saw bought from uk 12 year no problem This one wen we start sounds not good like motor jam or something And wen running smells like something burning Overall Performance good 😊

No good product missing 2 par off box

This is my initial rating and feedback without using the product. Product is heavy and sturdy. Documentation is very poor. It was disappointing to see the blade was not included with the package. No table. Even the simple scissor stand is not supplied. So, it can't be tested immediately after buying.

I like it very much. I had only light usage with it. It served good so far and hopefully it will continue. Good features I like very easy is soft start and blade stops spinner faster. I has features to calibrate and strong base. One complaint is with packing by Cloudtail. They shipped the product box as it is without any extra layer to protect against any damage during trasit. Lucky it had only a minor bump on one side.

this is one of the best shop purchases that I've ever made. I kept looking at it, and looking at it before I bought it, wondering if it would be worth the money. But once I got it and actually used it, I have never been happier. DeWalt is usually a good choice for power tools, although they are on the higher side of mid-range, cost-wise. But this was really worth it, smooth as silk to use, solid construction, good controls and stops, heavy. You will not be unhappy with this. One tip: The dust collection is poor, but of course that is the case with all miter saws so it doesn't say anything worse about DeWalt, but plan on hooking it up to a shopvac at the very least, otherwise, you'll have sawdust over everything.

Great saw, that takes up much less space than my former saw. I found that for the bulk of what i was doing i did not need the big slider, this compact saw does everything i need it to do. Sliding fence is a definite upgrade from my previous saw, and the accuracy out of the box is everything i would expect. Very smooth operation, but the only drawback i find is it is a little more noisy than my previous saws.

Quality saw at reasonable price

Got this for a great price and like almost all Dewalt tools, this performs excellently. Comes assembled and is built solid. The blade preattached is a high quality finishing blade, complete overkill for wood and goes for almost $60 on its own.. its a nice touch by Dewalt. Detentes are solid, easy to adjust into miters, easy operation. Would maybe like it to have a laser, but if you are good enough at DIY to invest in a saw of this caliber, it shouldn't be a deal breaker.
