Q: Re 46 in umbrella-large enough for two? weight? length when closed? length of handle when open?

The umbrella of 54" is a larger size, it is more suitable to use in the car, large enough for two. But it may a liitle heavy for traveling with your backpack. Q: After collapsed, can you manually push it back to open without having to fully closeit again first, for when the auto eventually stops working?

Q: how much does it weigh?

I am not sure of the weight but compared to cheaper ones it is heavier. I noticed that immediately. I presume that it is due to the "steel" spokes.

Q: Will this holdup to the Chicago hawk(wind) ?

Umbrella did turn inside out during some heavy Chicago wind/rain, but quickly fixed and didn’t seem to damage the umbrella at all.
