Philips SVC2330/27 Lens Cleaner

This lens cleaning disk works like a charm. I've used it on all my machines and even the cd player in my truck, which recently began giving error messages and freezing up. Since using this cleaner, everything works as new, and cds even sound better. Directions printed on the back of the package are a bit skant, but they logically suggest that you insert the disk in to your player and hit Track 1 (DUH) and it does the rest. If you miss the directions, the minute you hit PLAY the disk will guide you through the process with spoken directions, and as a bonus it will run an audio balance and connection test so you can tell if you've got your speaker connections hooked up right. Pretty simple. NOTE: on the package it is stated that this disk is NOT designed for use with X-Box or any other gaming system, so keep that in mind! The item was shipped very fast and arrived in perfect condition. I'd say this was a very good purchase and I expect it to last a few years.

Cleaner works well, I forgot to ask if it cleaned a coppyer, it does not, it will clean your player and burner but if you are having trouble with your copyng dievice such as skip ing than you need to look else where, this one wont work......

I have a Bose CD player, 2017 vintage with all the bells and whistles, and often it messes up!! That is, it begins to hiss, skip, whistle, make odd noises, and attempts to let me know it’s laser lens is dirty; probably, with a piece of noxious dust or pollution from the nasty outside environment. It’s Philips to the rescue!! What an amazing cd laser lens cleaner; truly remarkable, a real life saver in cd music listening terms. I don’t know what I’d do without it. Just insert the magical disc and before you know it, heavenly music is restored. I completely recommend this ingenious device with its unique cleaning heads. Philips is very well known for technological advancements; after all, they pretty much invented or perfected the cd anyway. If anyone knows how to clean a cd, Philips knows!! I have three!!!; 2 unopened and one in continual use. If you play CDs as much as I do, you really need this fantastic cd cleaner. I love it! Get 2 in case they stop making it; this disc has never failed me.

Junk. Did not work and I tried it on three different cd players. Past the 30 day return time limit so am out of luck...

I had high hopes that this would work but it did not after two attempts. I returned ot for a refund.

This is a very easy to use lens cleaner, and it works great! I used it in my tv's DVD player, which was making a lot of noise, and it's now operating quietly and smoothly. I used it in my car's cd player just to clean it. I'm very happy with this product. It comes with easy instructions too.

I had a 12 year old CD player that had been in storage for almost 9 years. It skipped a lot. After running this disc through it three times I noticed an improvement but it still skipped, just not as badly. However, for normal upkeep starting with a near new CD player it works good.
