Heavy duty
Works so well I bought 3 for different ladders. Do not know why ladder companies put such flimsy hinges on their products. Had one bend & throw me off the ladder. I was happy to find these because I was going to trash the ladder.

Wooden step ladder bracket
I have a very strong wooded ladder that I wanted to stabilize better by replacing the existing metal brackets with something more substantial. The item shipped on time but when I looked at the bracket it didn't seem as substantial as pictured. I decided to install it and try it out. The time it took to get the old one off and install the new one didn't discourage me from returning the bracket. It definitely is not as pictured. The arms are not solid metal as pictured but framed out. It works fine but not any more secure than what was previously used for many years.

Saved me money on a new ladder
Worked fine with an aluminum step ladder. Braces were better than the original on the ladder.

Too small. Not sure what ladder this would be for
Too small to replace existing on a standard 6 ft step ladder

Seriously bad hinges
Waste of $ on Chinese junk.Simple as that.

Good for the price
Sturdy enough construction for the price and easy install. But they sent two of the same side hinges so one hinge sticks out and is not flush when the ladder is folded.

Use flat washers
They did not send washers. But use them on the inside or the nut will wallow out the hole.Drill new holes if existing are too large.
