The product was very old. All the soft gel capsules were sticking into one another. Complete waste of money.

It helps break down free radicals, which are a byproduct of aging and disease. With age, though, and with many chronic diseases, natural levels of CoQ10 decrease. Promising results have been found with supplementation of CoQ10 in various forms for treatment of everything from heart failure to breast cancer. There are many different formulations of CoQ10 on the market today, with varying followings and evidence as to why their product is the most effective type or most bioavailable (in a form that the body can actually use). I love that this version has full information as to what type of CoQ10 is used, in this case it is Ubiquinol. Doctor's Best "Kaneka QH" is a patented version of Ubiquinol in which the coenzyme is already broken down to a more bioavailable form. They also have studies to back up why they believe that this formulation is a more efficient way to provide CoQ10 supplementation. Small, easily to swallow gel caps that have no offensive odor. It seems to give me energy and I simply feel better when I am on it. As I was trying to decrease the amount of supplements I took in a day, I stopped taking it for awhile. Well, I definitely missed it and am now back on CoQ10. This bottle is, for me, a 90 day supply.
