Not really a set
The knife is as advertised, but the fork is stamped and made in China. There is a significant quality difference between the two pieces. Additionally, the ergonomic handle would be great, except there is a noticeable transition from the metal of the handle to the handle pieces themselves.Overall, I am disappointed. I trashed the fork and am already shipping for another carving set. Wasted money here.

Poor Finish Quality
For $80 I thought I’d give this 8” Classic Carving Set a try. It matches my block set.The fork is cheap; the handle is small and uncomfortable. The knife has sharpening grind marks on the right side (pictured) and arrived with a very tactile burr along the left edge. The edges and top corners of the bolster area are very sharp. Poorly ground. Uncomfortable. It’s going back.

Nice
I got these to go with the Classic set I got years ago. Like the others in the set, these two are top quality. The knife is a good carving shape/length and is not at all redundant with the chef knife of the same length in the set. I really like that the fork tines are really long, thin and strong - what you need for larger things like turkeys and hams to hold them in place without making huge stab marks in them. I have one more Henckels Classic knife coming to fill out the block.

Not terrible
The knife came nice and sharp, the carving fork is a bit flimsy. I was disappointed in the molded plastic case it came in. I was hoping for it would have came in a sturdier case than what it was delivered in but overall, the knife makes nice clean cuts when I carve up dinner.

Solid knife (made in Spain) but very flimsy handle (made in China)
I purchased this knife set as a gift for my spouse - we have Henckles steak knives. The knife in this set is solid, sturdy, cut well. The fork, on the other hand, is a total waste of time. The prongs are overly flexible and quickly bend under any pressure. Come to find out, the knife is made in one place and the fork in another. I wish that had been more clearly stated. At the end of the day - you get what you pay for. I've returned this for a more sturdy and consistent set from another brand.
