Kate Aspen "Modern Garden" Geometric Planter, White, Set of 4

While these are cute to look at, they are terrible planters. They are made of a porous material that soaks in all the water and allows it to leak out, sort of like sweat. Every time I water them I have to place them on a waterproof surface and allow the water to leak out over night before putting them back on the window sill. Now that a few months have passed, the exterior is turning yellow/brown. I suspect it's from the dirt inside making it's way through the porous material.

Awful quality, one was broken when I received it, another had a chip and broke the next day

While I like the design for some reason the white planers instantly stained with a brownish colour only days after using. It has intensified over the weeks and will not come off with any cleaner inducing bleach. Was hoping for something a little more foolproof as it is white.
