Between three of us (my mother, sister and I), we've been using Biotherm's Lait Corporel L'Orginal (the one that smells deliciously like oranges) for over 30 years, and we all love that it's light but very moisturizing, works well for all seasons, and absorbs quickly. Sadly, that fabulous citrus scent is very fleeting. But not so with this new, Multi-Corrective Body Milk. It was only just delivered today, as an early Valentine's Day gift for my mum, who's been lamenting that the skin on her arms and thighs is starting to look a bit crepey. After trying just a bit of this new lotion on the backs of our hands, we were immediately overwhelmed by the scent. But we assumed that, like the our favorite Biotherm citrus-scented lotion, the fragrance would be short-lived. Not so. Even after several hand-washings, the scent of this new lotion is tenacious. This fragrance of this lotion is NOT fresh-smelling or youthful. So many reviews commented on the pleasant smell of this lotion (to each their own) but ugh! Just the small amount that we tested on the backs of our hands is so overpowering and tenacious, we can't imagine how unbearable it would be when used on the rest of the body, which is the main reason I bought it for my mum. Biotherm is a popular brand in France, but I can't imagine many French women buying this for it's skin renewing properties, then appreciating the "eau de geriatric" scent. We'll have my grandmother try it as well, but she'd probably be offended, as even at 79, she's far too chic and youthful-looking to want to smell like this. The texture of this lotion is nice and light but very hydrating/moisturizing. Only time will tell if it improves skin texture and elasticity, provided my mother can get over the unpleasant scent to brave using it on the rest of her body. We don't all share the same preferences when it comes to fragrance, and other reviewers seem to enjoy the scent, but my mother was joking that if she wears and then goes out shopping, she may suddenly be offered senior discounts and help taking groceries out to her car.

Je viens de recevoir cette crème et je l’adore. Son odeur est hyper agréable sans être trop forte. La crème pénètre bien dans la peau sans la laisser grasse mais en l’hydratant parfaitement. La peau paraît immédiatement plus nourrie et plus lisse. Je recommande!
