Works for 2 inputs into headset with mic
I was looking for a solution to hook up both my work laptop for WebEx and music and my iPhone for work calls to my headset with microphone. I am able to seamlessly switch between laptop sounds and a phone call. Sound quality is good with no difference to directly to my laptop. My microphone works properly sending audio into my laptop or phone. One small downside is my laptop's sound is reduced once my phone is plugged in, I can easily overcome this by turning my laptop volume up a little higher. There is a slight buzzing sound when no sound input is playing but this is a non issue for me.

Worked out great!
I'm so glad this cable worked. I am using it at work to connect my headset to my phone (landline) and also my computer so that I can hear both at the same time. It's a good thickness and the audio quality is really nice. I don't notice any difference in the sound.

Functions well, but with noise
Not sure why finding a tssr female to two tssr male adapter is so hard, but this just about the only one I could find. TLDR: chunky splitter that does what it is supposed to, but there is un-ignorable line noise from one side. For my use, I needed a splitter that let me use my headset for my work PC and gaming PC without having to manually change it all the time. I needed both mic and stereo sound, hense the tssr for both sides. Aesthetically, it looks like it was built in the 90s. Good news is that it is probably quite durable. It has a nice weight to it, and everything is tightly connected. All the jacks fit my other 3.5mm connections snuggly. Audio quality and mic from both PCs was uneffected by the addition. There is, however, some line noise when my work laptop is off and I am using my gaming PC. It is quite noticable, so much so I have to unplug that side from the splitter when I want to use my gaming PC. I am not sure if this is due to the splitter or something with the laptop, but it kind of renders my reason for getting it moot. The only advantage is that now I can unplug it from ontop of my desk. Overall, it's a solid, if not chunky, splitter that does what it is supposed to do. Only reason it lost a star is because of the noise. If I find a fix for it, I will update my review.

Cable did not work.
My set up is pretty simple and works with my headphones when plugged into each device separately. One headphones with mic, to two laptops. Both laptops accept accepts TRRS cables. I can hear audio from both laptops, but only one of the laptops Mic works from the splitter cable I purchased. I even tried using a USB audio adapter where you can plug in the audio cable for both laptops and the problem was the same from the splitter. Other people in these reviews have a working splitter, I can only assume my splitter has a problem. If seller would like to reach out to me I would be happy to change my review.

You will hear both signals at the same time.
The cable is basically flawless, no complaints here.

Really wanted this to work
I have two computers - one for work and one for personal use and I became real tired of moving the speaker connection back and forth. So I tried a splitter a couple months ago - and it didn't work. You could hear one computer if the other wasn't plugged in - and it was a stereo splitter, not a mic and sound version. I bought this one due to the reviews saying it would work, but not. One signal is really good - but the other is really, really faint. I had to turn everything up 100% to hear it at all. Just too much dropout when both are connected even though one computer is off and the other is on. It's a nicely built piece, but if you are trying to use it with two computers it doesn't work well at all and frankly it's not usable.

Audio/Mic work, but terrible static/noise.
Read reviews that said the same. Tried one, and had the static issue when plugged into 1 active device and 1 that's not powered on. Got an exchange, and same exact problem right out of the box. I understand and accept that this a product flaw. I do have both connected to 6ft 3.5mm extension cables which could be the problem, but who knows.

Works as it should!

This 4 ring cable is designed for audio into iPhones and cameras using a Saramonic or iRig preamp. It works with one phone fine, but as soon as a second phone is connected It cancels all audio to both It does not work with audio inputs on consumer video camera either. I had to return it as useless, and bought a second Saramonic as a workaround
