Amazon Echo Dot (4th Gen, Blue) with clock combo with Amazon Smart Plug

The product is good. Audio quality is good. Little loud as compared to 5th generation. You will find a LED clock in the device. I was interested to buy 5th generation with clock, but in India 5th generation is not coming with clock, thats why forced to buy 4th gen..

The media could not be loaded. So I got this at ₹3000 on prime day sale, at 3k this was a steal, pretty good sound quality. I have a Google home mini as well, the sound is better than that, plus range for 'alexa' detection is also better than Google home mini.Speech to text is not good compared to Google home mini, it understands most things but if you ask it to play a regional song which may be Lil hard to understand, it'll try to understand and won't comply with the request.*YT MUSIC* is not supported due to the beef between Amazon and Google.Support services are Jiosaavn, Spotify, Tune in, Amazon music, Apple music and apple podcasts.The one feature I really appreciate is ambient light sensing, it'll adjust it's brightness according to the light in the room, very dimm at night, you can turn this off if you want to.Coming onto cast controls, when you've started casting some song, it won't readily appear on your phone as it does with Google home mini, you'd have to open the app like open Spotify to change the music.At 3k it's worth it, I won't recommend above that price.Appearance wise it looks very cool and has volume, mute button and an action buttons on it as well.

Speaker not working

Do not buy any type of alexa from Amazon.. this whole series of their products is garbage.. its understanding is less than 1 year old kid.. I have used it for more than 2 years and rarely used it as it do not understand any tasks and despite doing all the settings, it does whatever feel like.. sent feedback to their team many time but no action or improvements to it..And biggest thing is.. Its almost 2025 and there is no AI in it.. even free platforms have AI now days.. What are you doing Amazon?
