Here's a tip from an Old Pro...
If you want to get someone's attention - like the CEO of a Corporation - buy some of this nice paper and FedEx them a letter. Be very concise and economical with your words. One page only. Do your Spell and Grammar Checks (remember what Mark Twain said "better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt") print out on this lovely cottony paper and FedEx it over there.Worth the time? Think about it!Let's say that you own a small commercial janitorial service and you've been hoping to pick up a group of Starbucks stores. If you tried to send an email to Howard Schultz (or anybody) at HQ, you'd be lucky to even find their email address. And if you did, you'd get spam-blocked because you're one of one-thousand little grains of digital sand that hope to wash-up on the golden Starbucks shore only to be sucked-back into the sea of anonymity. On the other hand, how many unsolicited FedEx letters does Howard Schultz get every day? You'd be surprised! I can tell you from years and years of personal experience that if you put a nicely worded and professionally prepared business letter in someone’s hands, ESPECIALLY THESE DAYS - they read it! When i was first married I got mad at the crummy job Brinks Security Installers did at my house, so I wrote the CEO a letter. Two weeks later I'm drinking my coffee at 8:05 am one morning and the phone rings and this guy says "Mr Carey, I'm Joe Smith, CEO of the Brinks Corporation. I've got your letter here in front of me and it sounds like we didn't have a very good day when we were at your home recently. What can we do to fix that?"WTF? The CEO of Brinks is calling ME? I was a little shaken up, but we had a nice little conversation and YOU BETTER BELIEVE that the Regional Manager called me 30 minutes later to make an appointment to come out with the Installer and his Shop Boss to take a look at my Security System. They did such a great job I did not get ROBBED OR KILLED EVEN ONCE the whole time we lived in Dallas.So... take a little time and compose a nice letter to Mr. Schultz. Always say something flattering like, perhaps in this case, er, "Mr. Schultz Its really impressive what you little short guys can do when you put your mind to it." Something like that. Send it FedEx or Overnight Mail. Again… how many FedEx Letters do they get? (Howard if you read this it would be great if you could share a number with us). If you don’t want to spend $6.80 for an overnight letter (you cheep-o) then how about $.55 cents for a stamp. Even an old-fashioned letter is 1,000 times more impactful than an email. Is Howard Shcultz going to open this FedEx and read it? No - No chance. Is one of his assistants going to open it and put it in a pile with various unsolicited mail for him to scan? Yes, this is possible. Most people don’t write so Corporate Execs tend to look at letters as the “Canary in the Coal Mine” thing. It’s like free Market Research for them. Anyway… even if they don’t physically see it there is a very good chance that a Senior Aid will read the letter and hand-it-off to another executive in the company for Action. That person then sends it back on down-the-chain with a note that says “this letter come into Mr. Schultz office. Please get back to Mr. X and let me know what happened so I can report back”.And there you have it. One of my great secrets revealed. Don’t tell too many people. We don’t want EVERYONE to start writing letters. We want to be "the SPECIAL people... don't we?"

Great resume paper!
High quality thick resume paper that doesn’t look to yellow like old resume paper did

Nice feel, quality paper
Despite some of the negative reviews, the paper has a great feel and looks great when printing resumes or other important documents. Not fair to rate the product poorly because of shipping damage, my order was delivered in pristine condition and all sheets 100% usable.

Pricey paper, but worth it!
Like one of the other reviewers, bought this paper for my Ph.D. dissertation. Ordered a total of three boxes. The paper quality is nice and no complaints with the look of the paper. Did think the paper would feel thicker, but as it is standard 24 lb paper, can't complain. The paper is watermarked on each sheet in a different spot (some sheets on the top, some in the middle, some at the bottom), which I believe is typical of such paper. I have to disagree with the other reviewer as the watermark doesn't look bad in the least. It is apparent, but not overwhelming and the printer ink covers these areas just fine. The watermark is definitely not 1/4 of the page, more like 1/8 of the page. The packaging is different from the image displayed on Amazon, so maybe Southworth changed their product recently for the better. While waiting for the paper to arrive, I learned my dissertation needed to be printed on acid-free paper and was contemplating returning the product. But was pleasantly surprised to find the back of the package lists this paper as acid and lignin free for archival quality :) I took one star off because one of the three boxes arrived damaged with the upper left hand corner of the paper squashed and unusable for printing. Order the paper early if you have a deadline as you may need to replace!

OK for resumés I guess, but much lower quality than they supplied years ago.
I ordered a couple of different resumé papers to replace the 30-yr old box of Southworth paper that I had found in my cupboard full of assorted specialty papers, which had been absolutely perfect for reprinting some pamphlets from the early 1900's in the original style. Unfortunately the modem Southworth equivalent doesn't match up in quality to their older papers of the same weight and material. (Neither did the other brand that I bought at the same time from Amazon, which turned out to be much worse). I guess I'll head off to ebay to find some old stock of the original paper.

Great value for the money, sturdiness, and softness.
The sturdiness of this resumé paper is good enough for origami and stamps. I folded origami shirts and dresses to make art in a shadow box for a school auction project. The softness of the material was good enough for watercolors, absorbing the water did not make the paper tear either like it did with regular paper and paper made from just 25% cotton. When dry, the 100% cotton paper was able to be stamped and re-folded. This was a great value for the money. Our Kindergarten auction project was a big success thanks to this great material. I would imagine that it can perform it’s task well as a resumé paper.
